@sweet_tooth Hi, would you have an idea if still same processing parin ba ang dentists nowadays? My wife (main applicant) wants to know if she can pursue practising as a dentist anywhere in Aus. We tried talking to an agent, but the agent suggested that we go as a Dental Technician tapos sa Tasmania pa ang nominated state. Ganun na ba talaga?
Due to numerous response from friends and here in PinoyAU, they suggested na personally nlang daw ako magapply - without the use of agents.
If anyone here recently applied for dentist work, please assist and advice po.
Thank you in advance!

hello! so far wlapo sa skilled occupation list ang dentist now..nasa consolidated list po sia meaning u cn apply for visa 190 or 489 thru state sponsorship and so far d states who cn sponsor in this profession are as attached.
and yes dental technician is on skilled occ list where u cn apply as independent skilled migrant worker (u cn choose a state) to live and work compared to 190/489 na may 2yrs commitment ka sa state who sponsored u. u cn check d website https://www.anzscosearch.com (register ka lng) so u cn check more info sa skill or profession na aaplyan nio.
d list of states who cn sponsor a "dentist" is also limited and each state has its own condition, South AU for example kelangan u have specific points to reach, whilst NSW state cn only nominate visa 489 (temp visa sia indi ka permanent res wen u enter)..and so on..i agree wd d rest of participants n ds forum na pde kau kau nlng mag apply most of us here mas natutu when we applied independently (wdout d help of a migration consultant) ..
u cn check any other thread n ds forum and ask anyone if may random questions kapa after ur research ..mostly dito very helpful and willing to share info.
Goodluck!
