Goodmorning mga peeps, newbie here. Gusto ko sana malaman if pano if wala sa SOL ung current work ko dito sa pinas? Can i still go to australia? ung 475 visa? papaano kaya yun? hindi ko kase masyado magets yung nakalagay sa site eh. Please enlighten me. I have relatives on Melbourne and said to me that they will sponsor me to Australia. Ano una ko gagawin mga peeps? Graduate pala ako ng BS computer engineering. thanks and more power.

If your nominated occupation is not included in the current SOL, you will not be qualified for 475-Relative Sponsorship. You may qualify however for 176 or 475 state sponsorship.

thanks sir...so ung 475 visa pala eh may category pa pala. Im currently working as a Network Administrator and chineck ko yung SOL eh wala sya dun. May nabasa pa ko na pwede nga tong 475 as other way going to Australia and has no specific class of job. Ano ba difference ng 176 to 475 in regards to processing ng visa? mas mahirap?mahal?mababa ang points?

total noob question : kelangan na ba bayaran yung $2960 kagad from the start on your assessment?

@mikol22: you will have to pay the $2960 when you lodge your visa application with DIAC. For skills assessment, depende yun fee sa assessing authority mo 🙂

timeline: skilled 175 - nominated occupation: accountant (221111)

12.14.2010 - lodged application (paper)

12.22.2010 - acknowledgement from diac with file number

11.14.2011 - request for medicals, pcc/nbi and ielts for spouse

12.10.2011 - submitted medicals (xcept for xray as i was about to give birth), pcc/nbi, form 1022 to inform about pregnancy

12.14.2011 - gave birth to a baby boy 🙂

12.15.2011 - additional request for medical (hepa b- pregnancy) from diac

12.22.2011 - submitted medicals (hepa b, xray and for the newborn), ielts for spouse, form 1022 to include an additional family member

01.20.2011 - submitted passport copy and form 80 for the newborn baby

so technically, i am just waiting for further instructions from diac kung ano pa ang kailangan nilang document. however, according to our agent, ang last requirement daw is ang passport sa newborn. after submission, we need to wait between 1-3 months for their decision. so good luck to us!

Update mo na din signature mo sir. 🙂 Hehe. Para sa mga post mo, pag nakita ng ibang members alam nila and pwede sila magtanong kung hindi pa nila napapagdaanan un process na natapos mo na.

ok, i will. thanks. eto nga problemado pa kc walangjo naman tong fedex na to, winala na ata ung original NBI q, pinadala ko last jan 25, ung luma kong nbi along with id, authorization, aun sa awa ng Diyos, hanggang ngaun di pa nakakarating ng pinas kaya di pa nakaka process ng nbi clearance!!!! whew.

Speaking of NBI clearance, kukuha na sana kami kanina. Wala na palang processing pag Saturday sa mga malls and even sa NBI Taft mismo. Buti na lang tumawag muna ko at nagtanong sa may kasungitang operator. Pero ok lang, at least I got additional time to sleep on a Saturday. Yun nga lang, kelangan mag-leave sa office.

Balitaan mo po kami dito ha if ano mangyari sa NBI application niyo. Sana gamitin nyo un NBI online, wala kasi ako nababasa pa na reviews about that service.

Iniisip ko nga if ok ba talaga yung online appointment nila kasi baka mamaya may limit lang din yun per day tapos matagal pa yung susunod na available nya. Pero pag-isipan ko na din yun. Kelangan kasi bayad ka na before mo malaman available scheds though 115 pesos lang naman per applicant. Balitaan kita. 🙂

Yup @JClem, interesado din ako dun sa Online NBI. Kung sakaling okay yon, sobrang convenient sa mga tao yon. Maiblog ko din sya if ever. Hahaha! Madaming hits ulit yon. :p

If hindi naman po complicated yun case niyo, I suggest online application na lang po just like many of the members here. Madali lang naman po eh, available na naman mga references dito you just have to read and read and read. Malaki matitipid niyo. Since ikaw pa din naman po kukuha ng mga necessary documents gagawin lang nun agents is give you advice, and submit them for you.
