@elle san mo nalalaman yang mga free ielts seminar na yan... nagse-self review lang kac ako... d ko alam kung tama tong gnagawa ko... hahahaha... isang coe na lang kelangan ko.. makukuha ko na by wed... nagleave na ako para asikasuhin yung mga documents... like pa-certify true copy ng passport and pa-notarize ng mga stat dec tapos pass na ako... wish me luck!

@cchamyl Sorry late ko na nabasa 'to. Go to British Council website dun ko lang nakita yun. Tapos na yung free IELTS prep kahapon sa SMX. Ok naman, lots of tips, sayang lang di ako nanalo dun sa free test, 10 pa naman yung pinamigay nila. Andaming tao as in!

BTW, sa Ensogo, may voucher na naman ang 9.0-Niner, P999 lang. I got two vouchers, for me and my husband. We are aiming for Band 8, sana ma-hit namin yun.

hi everyone! newbie here.so nice to find this forum. just received an EOI invite.question ko po un regarding payment..ive read in the website that if u applied online, payment is through credit card. problem is i have a credit limit and its gonna take a while b4 i can have it adjusted. pwede po ba to use 2 credit cards? sa mga ng-apply po, pano kau ngbayad sa immigration?tnx everyone!

Bro, di ata pwede gumamit ng 2 credit card not unless you can ask them to manually key in your CC details for you... I suggest you ask your credit card to give you a temporary increase in credit limit - call them and tell them your needs. They may heed to your request provided you will pay in advance your additional credit limit.

Just talk to them! 🙂

I used my aunties cc. me limit din kasi card ng mom ko tas parang 1 month before ma adjust ng bank so matagal den. Instead of waiting try to find someone nalang who has above 100t pesos limit tas pay nio nalang that person in cash at least mabilis kayu makakaaply kesa wait niupa ung credit adjust. Subject to approval din pla ung credit adjustment po. buti den di namin niwait ung credit adjust kase after a month from applying denied din sha hehe. My moms issuing bank pala is allied bank tho idk if other banks they have fast credit adjustment or maybe all banks r the same.

@olan sa akin Citibank inallow ako mag overlimit up to almost 50% ng limit ko. So far, wala namang problems. Di nila kasi ako binigyan ng temporary limit kaya sinubukan kong gamitin at nag ok naman yung transaction.

However, applicants should not proceed with health and character clearances where a '*' is listed in the Allocation table.

Ibig sabihin ba nito pwede nang mag frontload ng Health evidence at PCC's ang mga nag apply ng visa 190 at huwag nang hintayin na sabihan ng CO?

Baka ito rin ang dahilan ng pagpapadala ng Health Examination List ng GSM Support Officer right after ng lodgement ng visa. Any comments on this one please? Thanks

@olan Are you in the Philippines? You can get a prepaid mastercard from BPI or an EON card from Unionbank. Ako yun ang balak kong gawin if ever andun na ako dun sa part na yun. Yun nga lang you have to talk to the bank's account manager before you do it para clear kung anong purpose mo for depositing such money. Sa ibang prepaid/secured card kasi, may limit sa pwedeng maging laman nung card.

hello all... naghahanap lang ng reason to ease my worries... i have now completed all ACS requirements... certified true copy and all... at ngayon... kung kelan pa complete na tsaka ako biglang natakot... i fear that mawawala yung money na ni-invest ko tapos nde maganda results ng ACS... i am applying for the 261112 Systems Analyst code... d ko alam kung enough na yung job references ko... help!

Fear is inevitable - no one would want their dream to fail diba? so I believe it is quiet normal...

Meanwhile, I would suggest you start with other pending requirements (whatever are those) to keep your mind busy. No IELTS yet I assume? Review ka na lang big time and aim for the maximum 20pts (above 8 in all bands) - that way, you will be a step ahead from the rest when the time comes for you to lodge your EOI.

@cchamyl If it helps, hindi rin ako confident na papasa yung isa kong experience dahil more on helpdesk role sya. I was just inspired by a friend na pumasa sa engineering assessment nya so I thought, "What the heck i-try ko na rin magpa-assess. What if pumasa?".

And the rest, as they say, is current events.

Basta ready ka dapat emotionally and financially. There's no turning back once makapasa ka sa either IELTS or assessment.

thanks sa advice ha... nagre-review na ako for the IELTS exam... d ko lang ma-pass ang ACS online application ko dahil nga sa fear... nde na tuloy ako sure when I was really confident before sa pag-apply...

kung pano i-evaluate yung skills ko para malaman kung magiging positive yung rsults ng assesement... kac from my point of view... oo pasado ako.. pero d ko naman alam pano nag evaluate kac ang ACS... hehehe... 🙂
