Hi!
I've been looking into visas and am interested in applying for Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190. I was wondering for either 189 or 190 does the amount detailed in my bank certificate play a big role in approval? While I'm able to save and afford to move I'm concerned that the amount wont be enough. Could anyone provide insight on this?
From what I know, Queensland, ACT, and Northern Territory all ask for settlement funds when applying for the 190 visa.
Other states usually don’t require settlement funds, but they still ask for bank statements to check your address, work history, or to confirm that your salary is being deposited into your account and matches other documents like payslips or tax returns.
Just a heads-up that this is based on the current financial year. Things might change in the next one, so it’s a good idea to check the latest info on the state websites.
HTH and good luck with your application!
