medical laboratory scientist exam

Like my case hinde ako ng exam, two letters kasi ung ipapadala nila, first is assessed as Med lab tech, then another is the invitation to exam. You don't need to apply for another one.

@bhelle_mt02 tama ka sa lahat Na mentioned mo. Ang alam ko liber ang public school. Pero daycare, may mga facility Na 2-3 hours lang libre. Wala akong anak so Hindi ako familiar. 🙂

Yep swerte nga ni Ren. Ngayon hindi na pwede med. lab. tech. kahit sa South Australia. May conditions na. Sana wag muna mawala ang med. lab. scientists sa SOL. Nakaka pressure tuloy mag exam lalo na sa mga tulad ko na medyo oldie na. Hehehe.

Anyways, sa mga ng exam can you please answer my queries above? And more hints please. Malaking tulong. TIA.

@Ren thanks po sa information. When you lodge your application. Nagpresent pa ba kayo ng health insurance? What about ung medical before ba un mglodge or after.

Hi there yung medical exam is requested by your case officer a few months after ma-lodge ung application.

Hi there! tanong lang po in behalf of my wife na Medtech din.

Grant na po 190 visa namin at ako ang main applicant.

Si wife ba need pa mag pa assess para makapasok as med lab technician sa AIMS bago makapag work? or immediate pede na work agad agad?

Hi there,

I think it depends sa job market ng state na pupuntahan mo. I just think na mas competitive pag may AIMS assessment. But if maganda ung experience from the phils then perfect fit sya for the job opening, I think its wort giving a try to apply kahit walang AIMS assessment.

Plan talaga is to take a an assessment with AIMS then after ma qualify for exam.

Sana lang di na need ng AIMS sa Perth para maka pagwork as initialy as Med Tech Technician.

@janntdl pareho tau apply d2 sg thru agency. Ano agency mo? Pede na hindi na magexam. Sbi din ng colleague ko na nsa adelaide na, pamember lng sa aims tpos pede ka na work as med tech. kaso kung gs2 mo malalaki hosp pasukan or govt hosp, need yta nila med lab scientist so kelngn mag exam. Sa case nten, kakaopen lng ng list for canberra but unfortunately wla ung med lab tech. Puro plgi med lab scientist, kaya need ko exam pra if in case lng wla mg open db? Pero plgi nmn dw meron like last yr nag open ang medlab tech sa canberra, south australia at west. Un nga lng, ndi ka mkkpamili ng state. Ako nmn khit saan basta kasama ko mg ama ko. Unlike d2 sg na ndi ko mkuha dependent baby ko.

@bhelle_mt02 miss bhelle un case ko po kasi student po ako dito sa melbourne, dito na rin ang magama ko as dependent ko. pero gusto ko ksi mapermanent resident na dito. luckily ksi nahire ako as somehow parang medtech na rin sa hospital dito sa melbourne kaso part time pero permanent nman e limited ang hours ko kaya need ko na tlaga i try mg skilled.

Hi guys! Glad i found this forum, though I cant really understand your languages but I have the same questions about med lab scientist and the examination. I have a degree from sydney university for the bachelor of medical science, but sadly it's not accredited, so I'm wondering what i should do. Anyone here had a similar situation? i dont have any work experiences in this field so i dont even know AIMS is gna let me take the examination....🙁 Help!

@amyy. What you can do is contact AIMS directly. You graduated from an australian university, maybe they will let you take the examinations even without experience.

Anyone taking the exams this coming March 6? I will be taking it sa Sydney. Mejo nakaka stress dami aaralin. And short answer questions pa. Di bale sana kung multiple choice, may chance ka pa manghula. Anyone who took it already pwede mg post ng natatandaan nila questions/subjects? It will be a big help. TIA.

Ako din mageexam on mar 6 pero sa makati. Nahihilo n ko kakaaral feeling ko naman walang lalabas sa inaral ko. May mga tips ba kayo sa chem? Yun kasi waterloo KO

so glad i found this thread.. @gene_borres @ten2six just wanted to ask, anu anu po ba yung kailangang requirements to get started on taking the AIMS exam? do you guys already need an IELTS? Or school transcripts, COEs lang then you can already schedule for a sitting?

Also, is there anyone here who took the exam from UAE?

I'm just asking for my fiance. She's a Med Tech currently based in UAE and we're thinking about the best way to proceed with her visa (either through skilled or through a fiance/partner visa).. salamat po sa advice in advance.. 🙂

Ielts is needed. Ang ginawa ko kasi nagielts then nagpaassess with AIMS then I applied for the exam. Ung assessment kasi sakin is lab tech so I need to pass the exam para maging scientist
