Btw @ten2six anong visa inapply mo? Ako kasi 190 kaya lng closed na yata sa NSW. Pano ba pag 189, may quota ba yung mga states sa visas na ibibigay nila?

Ilan ba pts mo? I applied for 189. I got 65 pts. NSW state nomination is closed. Sa July na ulit sya mg oopen. If you have 60 or more points apply for 189. You don't need the state nomination dun.

189 is independent skilled visa.. so you dont need state sponsorship..

tama is @ten2six, if you have 60pts already even without SS, then mag apply kana ng 189..

Hello po... meron po ba ditong BS Public Health yung degree or may kilala na BS Public Health degree holder na nagregister sa AIMS?

Medical Technologist po ako for 8 years, pero BS Public Health grad po ako. May license po ako as MT sa Pinas and registered din po sa AMT. Gusto ko po sanang mag-apply sa AIMS.

^ You can try. Public Health is UP right? It's highly probable na ma certify ka. Nandun naman sa transcripts yung mga subjects mo and ilagay mo naman duties and responsibilities mo sa employment certificate. Also yung AMT mo ba is current? I sent my AMT and ASCP certificates pero inacknowledge lang nila is ASCP because yun lang current. Tagal ko na kase hindi ni renew yun AMT.

If I were you, I will apply it. Iba iba naman names ng course ng laboratory science kahit dito sa Aussie. They will look at your subjects and experience naman if it's the same.

May question nga pala ako sa eoi. Nung inenter ko kasi yung ielts score ko parang automatic nacompute ung score ng language ability na 7. E sa rsult ko yung OBS ko is 7.5. Ndi kaya magkaproblem yun?

The lowest band score ang basis for claiming of points, not the OBS. So if no band lower than 7, thats 10 points. If no band lower than 8, that's 20 points.

Salamat @ten2six.. current yung sa AMT ko.. renewal ko this October 2014.. sa UP po yung BS Public Health ko. Susubukan ko po mag-apply. Sana ma-allow magsit in sa exam. Nabigyan po ako ng Med Lab Technician na registration sa New Zealand, so sana iconsider din ako sa Australia. 🙂

Question lang po regarding sa subjects. @ten2six

An acceptable science degree should include FULL units (not part units) of the following subjects:

Human Anatomy

Human Physiology

Chemistry

Biochemistry

Immunology

General Microbiology

General Pathology

Human Molecular Biology

and should include at least two (2) of the following professional subjects:

clinical chemistry

haematology

medical microbiology

transfusion science (immunohaematology)

histopathology/diagnostic cytology

** Yung mga naka-bold po yung subjects na meron ako. Wala po ako nung Immunology at Human Molecular Biology. Baka po ma-grant lang ako ng hanggang Med Lab Technician. Goal ko po sana ay ma-invite mag-sit in sa exam for Med Lab Scientist. Sa tingin niyo po kumuha na lang kaya muna ako ng subjects na ito bago mag-apply?

Pa-assess ka muna po ng skills mo sa AIMS then ung result, most probably med lab technician like me so kung gs2 maging scientist, need mag exam. Ung saken, kasabay na ng result ng skills assessment ung invite tos sit for the exam med lab scientist.

@raspberry0707 ur welcome! Katulad mo din ako nangangarap makarting oz ksma ng family ko soon. Hehe.. gaya nga nila @gene_borres at @ten2six kaya din nten un! Kaya ko inumpisahan etong thread na to kasi sa website ng AIMS prang napakahirap ng exam pero ng may mkilala ako tulad nila na nkapasa nmn, mas lalo lumakas loob ko mag take hehe...

@bhelle_mt02 akala ko nung una mag-aaral pa tayo jan sa Oz. Kaya sa New Zealand ako nag-apply. Pero recently may nagsabi sa kin na kailangan lang ipasa yung exam ng AIMS.

Meron lang akong question regarding sa documents na isusubmit.

"How to Lodge your Application:

Send three (3) certified sets of documents: (one (1) originally certified set and two (2) duplicate photocopied sets)"

Kelangan ba lahat ng 3 copies ng document certified true copy. Or yung additional 2 copies ay photocopy nung unang certified true copy na document?
