<blockquote rel="retrolife">Hi everyone!
It's me again! I just received my positive assessment from IPA. Thanks for all your help!
Just a question about filling out the EOI:
Should I include my yet incomplete masters in the educational qualification section? If I include it, my issue is in Page 9 of the EOI application (Confirmation of points), it's saying that my highest claimed qualification is my masters degree and that I should have completed it. The thing is I haven't. I'm actually only claiming 15 points from my bachelor degree, which is already assessed by the IPA as being comparable to an Australian bachelor.
IPA used the subjects I took from my masters when assessing my case.
Can anyone please enlighten me with this?
Many thanks!! </blockquote>
Hi--
Am not in the same field as you but I thought to share my EOI experience when i saw this thread.
Based on the DIBP guidelines, I believe there are no points that you can claim for Masters.
What I understand is that, under educational qualification, the maximum points you can earn is 20 if you're PhD degree holder, but you can't claim the 15 pts as well under your bachelors'. In effect, that would be the same analogy as your question.
Congratulations on your progress and Goodluck!!
