By the way, my experience with PAL last March is good enough. No TV however they let you borrow iPADs. If your parents have iPads already, ask them to download the PAL app so they can access the free media available in the plane which have wifi..

However you mentioned that your parents will go to brisbane right? not sure as of this moment however only Melbourne and Sydney have direct flights thus they need to transfer to domestic terminal and manually do another check in of luggage.

My experience with QANTAS domestic flights is that they have a single luggage check in limit, this was last year so better check their website once again.

I would recommend going with QANTAS and book the whole trip in one seating from Manila to Brisbane therefore even if there are transfers and even if they have more than one luggage, the check in transfers will be automatic. Also International to Domestic transfer in Sydney is well organized for QANTAS..

Tanong ko lang po kung may possibility kaya na ma-approved ng visitor visa yung dad ko kahit may emphysema sya? Tapos na sya magpa-medical pero pinapabalik sya dahil kelangan daw nya mag submit ng medical certificate na meron syang tinetake na maintenance para sa emphysema nya..

Posible bang madeny sya because of his emphysema? pero hindi naman nakakahawa yung sakit nya.

We will get health insurance if nirequire or kung ma-approve na. So, sa application ba, i-'No' muna?

@KatAmogawin just had my parent-IL's visa granted.

applied online: 13-Aug

visa grant: 19-Aug.

multiple entry, 6 monts maximum per stay. Although, 12 months yung inappy ko. They were not required to do any medicals. Last Monday, I saw that there was a requirement for medicals in the online account. We were planning to do it next week pero hindi na lang kasi na-grant na.

For the docs:

applicants: passport, birth cert, marriage cert(for change of name), bank statements and any statements for assets if available

from you: invitation letter, passport, visa grant, bank statements, pay slips

@filipinacpa wala namang set amount na required pero siyempre kung mas malaki balance mo, much better. hindi na kami nagsubmit ng bank balance or kahit property ng applicant, ang sinubmit lang namin yung bank statement ng SPONSOR, ok na yun, since sponsor naman sasagot ng accommodation, expenses, etc. 10 business days lang nakuha na namin visa grant. good for 3 years multiple entry visa. good luck!

@tito123 bro would it be possible to apply for both my parents while I am still here in the Philippines. Already received our family visa grant 189 already. Planning to have my parents be applied for their tourist visa kasi mahirap mag asikaso once nakaalis na kami. Could I show my present company payslips combined with our family business income? Thanks in advance. Would they be required for medical still?

@dee0829 Yes, I'm a PR here. Almost 4 years but I did not apply for the sponsored family stream. Just the basic subclass 600.
