They can call the Taxi Hotline 1800 648 478 as displayed on the red stickers on the front windscreen and rear passenger window of every cab. This system has been in place for 50years+.
What happens if a driver is caught ripping off a passenger?
They can be fined $300 under the taxi regulations and TfNSW will look into the driver’s track record and may take further action.
