2.5 years p lng po kasi work exp ko, kaya 0 point.. Aun.. may way pa kaya para makalusot ako sa pagfile before july 1? o better luck next time n? hehe. huhu

things happen for a reason.. just believe na kaya mo..

here are my suggestions:

1) the only way is for you to re-take IELTS and get 7 on each band - so additional 10 pts yan, if kaya pa, you can schedule on June...

2) but even if you have the IELTS, kakapusin ka na sa oras for SS.. - additional 10pts

3) 6 months na lang may additional 5 pts kana for Work Experience..

pag nagawa mo lahat yan.. you will have 70 pts in total...

based on the timeline, malamang aabutan ka na ng skill select... but dont loose hope, baka skill select will better work for you.. assuming may 70 pts kana.. mas higher priority ka na compared sa mga 65 pts lang...

Other things na pwede pagkunan ng points

if you have a partner/spouse skills assement - 5pts, kaso this will take time ulit..

if im in your position i will:

1) retake IELTS as soon as possible

2) apply SS immediately after IELTS... and hopefully before Jul1.. para pwde ka magtransition to skillsellect.. i heard na ung mga may SS approved pero hindi naka apply before Jul1 will get automatic invitation to apply for visa under skillsellect..

in short, weigh your situation and other consideratons (budget/time).. kung kaya pa.. go ahead..

otherwise.. wait for skill select..

Hi lock_code, un na nga lang din ang iniisip ko, na things happen for a reason talaga. gustuhin ko mang mag take ulit ng IELTS, wala ng slot, hehe. August na ang earliest na may slot. baka ganun n lng gawin ko, wait mag 3 years work experience then, ielts ulit + SS, para maka 70 pts, then skill select. hoping n lng na mabigyan ng invitation since konti lng naman kaming magcocompete sa field ko, sana.. hehe. Thanks po sa advice!

Hmmm mukhang marami naghahabol sa IELTS, dati kasi nun ako naghahabol din, kahit few days before exam date ako nagregister tinanggap pa din ng BC. Ngayon months ahead fully booked na. Sobra dami naman ata gusto mag-exam.
