Separate EOI oo pwede. 🙂. Sa case ko nga hindi unsucessful, but I was given 489 by NT. My preference is 190 so I applied for another state nomination at SA for 190, and was blessed to have 2 visa invites on 2 EOIs.

I went ahead with SA 190 and let the NT visa invite expired naturally.

Hi all, I'm planning to apply for NT since un lang ang state na currently open for my NO. I don't want to go for it only for this reason, I want to really appreciate NT and hopefully accept it as our future place of settlement. Can anybody tell me what's it like there? Hindi kasi masyadong sikat ang NT kaya hindi ako masyado makakuha ng info re the way and feel of living there. Thanks in advance.

@han_min - advise ng agent ko e hayaan na lang daw.. same dun sa EOI / visa invite ko for NT na hindi ko niprocess...

@j0wnaGurl - pinas weather kasi nga tropical, expensive housing and food but slightly higher salary, best beaches, youngest state, young couples and young adults ang mostly andun, nagkakabagyo din... good place to start kung wala ng ibang choices especially kung may trabaho ng nagaantay..

Thanks @rareking. I saw may pagka desert din yung place and since we've been in Saudi Arabia for quite awhile now medyo sanay na din kami sa init. I read from the past posts that you got a 489 from NT, pwede po ba manghingi ng advice re the requirements? Sa proof of funds po ba ok lang na inheritance yung property na ilalagay? Pero if ever may supporting papers naman na pwede siya makuha or magamit anytime if needed or kelangan nakapangalan talaga sa amin ung property? Thanks po ulit.

hi @j0wnaGurl - not really an expert on this matter. For my case nagdeclare ako majority ng bank savings at stocks ko.. tapos maliit na property na di rin nakapangalan sa akin.. pero walang verification na nangyari at di sila humingi ng additional docs. Di ako sure kung solb na sila dun sa savings at stocks ko kaya di na nila ni check yung isang property ko na di nakapangalan sa akin, personally.

I suggest to proceed but put as much supporting docs as you can.

Additional info --- Based on latest info na nareceive ko, I think 3 or 4 of us pinoys na nagapply ng 190 were granted ng 489 ng NT. Not sure on the grounds of the decisions.

Thanks @rareking. Paano mo dineclare ung property na di nakapangalan sayo? Hindi pa kasi enough ung savings namin kaya no choice kami but to use the "inherited lands". Mostly 489 nga ang binibigay nila. Kahit sa ibang forums (mostly indians & paks kasi HR) un din ang sinasabi. Problema ko kasi sa WA sched 2 kaya kelangan ng job offer. Which is hard to obtain. May sister in law nga sana ko dun. By the way, was thinking if we declare that my husband's sister is in WA baka madeny kami sa NT. What are your views re this. Pasensiya na po ha... mukang magiging suki mo ko sa tanong. Thanks po sobra.

@j0wnaGurl kapos ng konting konti lang kaya nidagdag ko yung property. Meron din ako pinsan sa Perth pero nideclare ko pa din. Pero nung nagsubmit ako ng answers kung bakit NT/Darwin.. nilagay ko advatanges vs Perth vs Sydney, mga states na meron ako kakilala na nideclare ko.

Hi all... kakalabas lng din ng decision ng CO at unsuccessful din application ko sa SS..(Arch. Draftsperson). bilis ng pag decide nila, 5 days lng simula ng ma acknowledge ang application.. 🙁

- so will just have to wait na lang for other state na mag bukas uli, pero most likely abutin yata ng mid next year uli ?? antagal.. -- sa mga applicants sa same skill ko, what do you think, ma include pa din kaya sa next year Csol list ang skill natin? medu nakakakaba kasi- at lalo nakapanghina itong naging result ng ss application ko eh.
- another question: pwede pa kaya mag re- apply uli sa NT, at ilang months bago pwede magpasa uli- kung sakali?

What was the reason for rejection @whil? It seems that they are being very strict. I've heard 3 rejections sa occupation ko for the past week alone (HRA).

Always think positive. Maghintay man ng konti, hopefully makakapasok pa rin.

hi @j0wnaGurl @tolitz .. sabi sa sulat, my skills and experience daw are not in line with NT employers' needs.... -- di ko nga alam bakit ito ang reason kasi maayos naman CV ko, as kung ano talaga duty ng arch. draftsperson... at ung 5 job posts na nai submit namin, pinili namin talaga na di sya maging related sa civil, and pang archi talaga.. kaso di pa din pinalad...

- tsaka nasambit din sa sulat, due to the influx of applications na natatanggap nila, - kaya mahigpit at piling-pili lng ung ina approve nila.
