EA (Engineers Australia) Skilled Employment assessment

For those successful applicants here who completed the EA assessment for Professional Engineers, did you avail of the Skilled Employment assessment (worth 250 AUD excl. GST), which is the additional service to the standard Qualifications assessment (620 AUD excl. GST)?

Is this optional assessment (Skilled Employment assessment, not the standard Qualifications assessment)) required to get the necessary points for work experience outside Australia?

hi guys! I received my positive EA result today! Thank God! Tanong lang po.. kapag ba walang specific number of working experience, does it mean na counted yung entire working experience? please advise po.. thanks a lot!

pero I submitted my relevant docs na eh for them to determine the number of working experience ko like yung JD and CV ko.. you think resubmission ba to and waiting time ulet ng 16 weeks??? whoa!! 🙂

@sarah_lyn ang alam ko kase isahang positive assesment yun eh pati yung sa addl services if you availed///pero wait lng ha search natin yan... ;-)

So far wala pa po akong nakita na EA result na may nakaindicate kung ilang years of work experience ang recognised. pero sa experience ng mga kilala kong nag apply, so far ok namn, may isa lang akong kakilala na hiningan ng DIBP case officer ng separate work experience assessment from EA.

ah i see.. 🙁 is it safe ba na wait ko nlng c DIBP officer if they'll ask for it? for now oks na muna yung assessment ni EA as bachelor's degree? thanks ng marami sa inyo 🙂 promise mabilis pa kayong magreply sa agent ko 🙂)))

hi sarah g... Congrats! Ibig sabihin ba CDR assessment lang ni-request mo (AU$ 620), hindi ka nag-avail nung Skilled Employment Assessment (AU$ 250) from EA?

@wizardofOz - oo eh.. AUD620 lng.. i just learned the additional service sa inyo.. hndi namention ng agent ko yan.. pero I submitted my JDs and CV sa EA.. yun lang wala tlgang number of yrs indicated sa favorable letter ko..

Application of Addl Services:

It should be noted that not all clients will require these additional assessing services. Such services are anticipated to be ONLY of interest to the following clients:

those who hold a higher-level qualification than may be strictly necessary to provide the nominated outcome; and/or
those who have at least 1 yr australian work experience, and/or at least 3 yrs Overseas work exp in their nominated occupation or closely related occupation...

@sarah_lyn.. oks submit mo na lang yung Skilled Employment assessment application simple lang yung requirements nila, COEs plus fill-up mo lang yung Form... Oks na yan kasi yung biggest hurdle na CDR nalagpasan mo na.

actually hindi pa tapos ang assessment ko, expected ko pa this week or next week ang results...

pero sa case ko, isahang apply lang both yung CDR and Skilled Eployment assessment.
