HI, i am inquiring if someone requires 8 in all IELTS catagories, recieves 8 in all but 1 Which was 7.5 Do they have to retest for all catagories or just the one the didnt do well in?

@Johnbee03 ... if you don't get your desired score in one category.. you need to repeat everything.. in your case.. since 7.5 sa isang category.. pag nag retest ka.. kukunin mo pa rin lahat...even those na 8 or above na ang score mo dati..

If that 7.5 is for speaking or writing, I also highly recommend just going for remarking. Retaking may get you an 8 for that module but theres also danger of getting scores lower than 8 in the other modules.

@multitasking @appledeuce I have just submitted my remarking last week and you can actually specify which module you would like to be reviewed. That way hindi na ma-change yung ayaw mo ipa-change. Cost for remarking one module or the entire test is just the same. hehe

Yup, that's why I also recommended remarking so the TS won't have to retake everything and risk getting a lower score on the modules where he already got an 8.0. 🙂

@Frances16 depende po sa requirement ng pgsusubmitan mo or sa expiry ng una mong ielts...some may require 2 years validity while others require 3 years.

@Frances16 actually you can combine the 2 results depending on the requirement of your profession...like in the case of nurses...also in some countries, they can now accept combination of ielts result.

@MSS oh ok.salamat sa info.actually, lumabas na result ng rescore and unfortunately Wala ngang nagbago.pero right away nagpaschedule ulit ako ng exam.bakasyon muna ako sa Pinas para makapagrelax and review bago sumalang ulit sa exam.eto na lang kasing speaking ang nagpapahirap sakin.nakakaubos ng ipon hehe!hopefully mapasa ko na this time [-O<
