Good luck sa lahat ng naghihintay ng invitation to apply for state nomination like me. π
Guys, may mga questions sana ako sa Visa 190. I am a Systems Administrator and wala itong occupation na to sa SOL, pero nasa CSOL.
First question, paano ba makapasa sa Visa 190? Kelangan ba talaga nito ng state sponsorship? Sorry medyo kaka-start ko lang magbasa about the different visa options kasi meron naman akong Agent. Sabi kasi ng agent ko, Visa 489 daw ako pasado or pwede as of now, kasi yun lang ang may state sponsorship, from SA. Pero hindi pala pang PR itong 489 ano? Work/Study visa lang pala ito. So mas prefer ko sana Visa 190.
Second question/concern, gusto ko sana makuha opinions nyo or suggestions on what is the best option/s for me. If for example, 489 lang talaga ako pwede, so ito ba muna apply ko, tapos once nandun na, can I apply for 190 in how many months, etc.
Baka merong "master" na dito when it comes to 190 visa, please pm me and I can give you more details. Thanks in advance for any guidance π
Note : Meron na pala akong assessment result from ACS, pasado na din ako sa English test- PTE.

Ang 189/190/489 visa po kasi ay points-based. Ang minimum points para magkaroon ka ng potential to invited to apply for a visa whether temporary (489), or permanent (189/190) is 60 points.
Kung kulang ang points mo (less than 60) dito pumapasok ang state sponsorship kasi you can get 5 points or 10 points if a state wants to sponsor you.
190 is a permanent resident visa, at 5 points ang makukuha mo.
489 is a temporary resident visa, at 10 points ang makukuha mo. Although temporary ang 489, pwede kang magqualify maging PR once you've lived in the sponsoring state for at least 2 years and had full time employment for at least 1 year.
So for example, 50 points ka currently, your only option is 489 kasi 10 points ang makukuha mo which will make your total points 60.
If 55 points ka currently, you can apply for both 190 and 489 visa sponsorship.
