<blockquote rel="RoseG">@peach17: Hi Peach, thanks for the response. So you mean, based on your experience, di pa naman natatax yung mga assets and investments mo abroad kahit declared sya sa ITR mo? Thanks.
@envy: very informative, thank you. hindi ba exempted ang Pinas sa double taxation? So far, as for my case, I don't think I will be needing one, pero kailangan ba TFN para makpgapply for Medicare? yun sana gusto ko apply para dyan ako makakanganak lang just in case.
Thank you!!!

example dating ka dito July 10 2015.
taxable ka sa pinas for 2015 (Jan 1 2015 to July 10 2015 = 200+ days)
taxable ka sa australia for 2015 (July 1 2015 to June 30 2016)
Yes, kailangan ang TFN to receive benefits thru Centrelink (and Medicare).
Bago ka mag plan ng maternity dito make sure you have everything covered, kasi may mga benefits that require ang 2 year residency, while private insurance requires 12 month waiting period or non pre-existing conditions.
