Hi guys! I'm a newbie here. I came along this forum when I started googling about filipino accountants working in Australia. I am really interested in working in Australia as an accountant (my current work here in the Philippines is a bank examiner in a GOCC), together with my fiance who is a nurse here in the Philippines, and we both plan to migrate (PR) there when everything's fall into places.
We are planning to get married earlier next year (around May 2015), after which I will take IELTS and apply for 189 Visa for both of us. Is it possible that I'm the only who's going to take IELTS (hopefully, I get a 7 for each component ๐ ) and yet get both of our 189 Visa approved? I'm a little bit confused din po kasi I read some threads wherein some of the couples are required by the CO to submit the IELTS results of their respective hubbies, while some were not.
Thank you so much po, and looking forward to your replies! More power to this forum!

Yes yung main applicant lang nman need mag IELTS. unless need mo kumuha ng additional points for spouse. Otherwise, pwede na sa spouse yung certification lang from school registrar na english ang medium of instructions. may format na sila neto
