Anyone who has idea of RPL? Its process and costs.

Is your question for ACS? If so, then it will be the same process as a regular skills assessment but you need to fill-up the RPL form, the form includes a project report where you have to narrate your experience against key criterias, during my time it costs 500 AUD, Check the ACS website for the latest figure on cost. Hi, I got my RPL cert and I'm suitable. How does RPL works? Since my course was classified as insufficient ICT course, should I need to apply for another assessment para naman sa education? Please help. How many points did you get for your RPL? 9 years yung na assessed sa akin but only 2011 to 2014 yung nag equate

@charles_of29, for the educational assessment, yes, if you intend to claim points under education category. For the ACS result, be mindful of the 'skilled date' when claiming point under the employment category. Yours was 2011 of which month? That would be your baseline date.

Hi, its August, I'll will try to submit my eoi on December then I can gain 5 points by then. is it because acs did not tag my course as ict major? My course is B.S math major in ComSci, i have my tor and certficate/diploma. Is it enough? Or I need to have it assessed by another body? Little bit confused since my colleague did not undergo other process aside from Acs. But they are not via RPL. Please advise

Others get their educational qualification assessed through VETASSESS just to be sure. It is not a requirement though. You can claim 15 points for education only if your degree is equivalent to AQF degree based on the country education profile.

@Xiamau82, thanks and appreciate it. as per forum I'm under category 2, Far Eastern University. 10 points I believe. who will assess if its AQF equivalent? Immi or ACS?

@Dhey_almighty, you need to submit to projects pre. My profession is more network engineering so yun ang binigay ko. ano yung WA?

@charles_of29 kung 55 points ka pa lang, then you need to file for SS nga to claim ung plus 5 points... go for perth mate :-)

Labo kasi nung RPL minus 6 years ako. 3 years natira sa 9 years experience ko which is 5 points only, educ 10 points, age 25 points. so need ko maka 8 sa ielts para + 20. kung 7 lang 50 points lang ako. even SS is not applicable sa 50 right?

Labo kasi nung RPL minus 6 years ako. 3 years natira sa 9 years experience ko which is 5 points only, educ 10 points, age 25 points. so need ko maka 8 sa ielts para + 20. kung 7 lang 50 points lang ako. even SS is not applicable sa 50 right?

uhm, oks rin naman na may RPL ka na...pero since visa application ka pa lang naman, wag ka na muna magpa RPL at dito ka na lang kuha ng RPL pag oks na ang visa mo...

ang mahalaga kase e makapagapply ka na agad ng visa at madali na yang RPL pag andito ka na sa oz...ung nga lang at mahal ang RPL dito :-)

@dhey_almighty, yup nag pa ACS nga ako. di suitable course ko sa they provide me another type of assessment and that's RPL. Then positive RPL ko that I can use for skilled migration however, yung experience ko na 9 years na dapat 15 or 10 points, nagging 5 points na lang. kasi minus 6 years pinaka katumbas ng RPL ko jan
