Partner skills

You can receive five points if, when you are invited to apply for this visa, your partner provides evidence that they:

•were under 50 years of age

•had at least competent English

•had nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation

•had been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation.

Question: Ano po requirement regarding sa work experience nya:

total years of experience?
must be currently working for her nominated occupation? or pwede iyong job niya 5 years ago ang gagamitin as her nominated occupation?

from what I understand on this.... ang critical thing is yung assesment.. kailangan magpa assess sya on his/her nominated occupation..based on the assessing body requirement.. doon mo malalaman kung ilang years ang experience ng kailangan nya...or kung pwede yung occupation nya 5 yrs ago..

sir i just want to ask po pano po maconsider o mgrant ng additional n 5 pts yung wife ko,,,if competent yung english nya with the certification from the institution n english yung gamit for teaching at bachelor degree din cya? enuf n po yung 2 points n to be bgranted with 5 pts...or madami cya n kelangn imeet pra mgrant yung 5 pts...? thank u po

Mga sir/mam,

Question lang regarding this. Dun sa statement na <b>"had nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation"</b>.

Meaning dapat nasa SOL ang nominated occupation niya?

Here's our case. My nominated occupation in the SOL and CSOL

(Civil Engineering Draftsperson : 312211) and then my wife's nominated occupation

in only in the CSOL (Contract Administrator : 511111). Is it possible to claim points

for my wife;s skill if she receive a positive skills assessment?

Any help regarding this matter would be very much appreciated!

hi @omeng22. Same tayo ng situation. My hubby is the principal applicant and ung occupation nya is in SOL (software engr: 261313). Ako naman nasa CSOL lang (graphic designer: 232411 and web designer: 232414). I passed the IELTS exam. Gusto namin na makuha ung 5 points pero dunno din if pwede ba. Hope may makasagot sa concerns natin. Thanks po sa lahat!

@bumblebee oo nga mam 😃 pero may nabasa ako sa ibang thread na pag nasa SOL and CSOL daw yung occupation nung isa then yung isa CSOL lang e pwede daw, as long na parehas nasa CSOL yung occupation, pero hindi pa ako 100% sure hehehe, ang another question dun is kung same nasa CSOL e hindi ko din sure kung pwede na claim ng points kung wala dun sa nominating state yung isang occupation, naguguluhan din ako hehehe. Like in our case, occupation ko (civil engineering draftsperson : 312211) same na nasa SOL and CSOL, then my wife's occupation (contact administrator : 511111) nasa CSOL siya. Given na parehas na nasa CSOL occupation namin, pero wala sa occupation list ng plan kong sponsoring state (NSW), nasa SA lang kasi nakalista yung occupation niya, baka hindi parin kmi makakuha ng points? Another plan is parehas kaming sa SA magapply ng sponsorship kasi meron din nung occupation ko dun. Hope may makatulong sa aking madaming katanungan hehehe, salamat ng madami pinoyau!

what I know is both of your occupations must be in the same list.

@omeng22 dahil it's not in the list of requirements for you to get additional 5 points, then I would say no need. I hope I'm right.
