@renjo - I don't know your personal circumstances as to what made you decide to wait for the NSW SS despite already getting an invite for 189.
Put it this way, yung NSW SS kahit nagbayad ka na, di pa rin sure yan na mabigyan ka ng 190 invite. Maghihintay ka pa niyan ng 6wks at least. The worse that could happen is they will reject your NSW SS (far-fetched scenario but it is not impossible) and your 6wks wait were put into waste.
The 189 invite naman, as long as all the points claim you make are accurate, walang problema na yun...
NSW SS will lead you to a 190 visa which will limit your options for 2 years; what if all of a sudden gusto mo tumira sa Tasmania diba? Ang 189 visa will enable to live anywhere you want.
Oh yeah, the 5pts will no longer matter... As long as you get your invites, it will no longer matter much whether you get 60, 65, 70, 75 or even 80 pts. 🙂
