Hello sino po kaya and QS dito na civil engg ang degree, hingi po sana ako ng sample CDR.
Hi @mslakay try to research sa website ng Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), kasi as far as i knw wala ata na assess na CE as QS except my degree ka sa "Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and Economics". yong friend ko kasi nag aral sya muna bago sya na asess ng AIQS for migration.. check mo website nila.
Hi guys! FYI, may mga pinoy CE with QS experience who are successful with their migration assessment with AIQS (isa na ko dun =D). Though, I think most fail and tend to have their assessment na lang with EA (Engineers Australia). Yung documents mo lang talaga magdadala sayo sa assessment with AIQS. Madalas etong 2 requirements sumasablay ang mga applicants:-
Work Experience - sa CV mo, yung title/position mo is QS related or better nakalagay talaga you are working as Quantity Surveyor. The same with your COE. and make sure na kung anu man title/position na declared mo sa CV dapat same sa COE.
Approved Supervision - dito madalas sasablay. From my knowledge, hindi pwedeng local title lang ang hawak ng manager mo or boss mo. kelangan yung supervisor mo during your tenure is a qualified QS. Meaning, they must have a QS degree the least or member sila ng RICS, AIQS or any QS organizations affiliated with both.
If you don't meet this 2 requirements, unfortunately, sasablay ka talaga sa assessment. And best do your assessment with EA.
Note: Being a member of AIQS does not mean a positive outcome in your migration assessment. If you can't prove that you worked under approved supervision, you will fail. The only advantage you can get outright of becoming a member is mura ang babayaran mo na fee for the assessment.
