Guys, 6.0 lang ba ang requirement sa IELTS for 189? Nung ni check ko last year parang 7.0 ang need for Computer Network and Systems Engineer... I might be wrong pero yun sana ipapa assess ko sa ACS kaya lang di ako umabot sa 7.0 sa nabasa ko kaya I go with Sys Admin...

IELTS 6.0 ang minimum requirement ng DIAC.. but you wont points for english language..

in this case, since meron naman na ACS assessment si @arlene5781, and if you read her post, meron na 65 pts even without the points for IELTS..

so for her case, she only needs to satisfy the minimum requirement for DIAC (which is IELTS 6.0 in each component)... then she can submit EOI for visa 189..

Alam ko nabasa ko ito pero di ko na matandaan hehehe. so confirm ko lang...

eventhough maka apply ka for 189 thru skillselect dahil sobra sobra ang points mo, meron po ba requirements ang nominated ANZSCode mo na dapat 7.0 ang ielts mo? regardless kung anong state?

Or yung mga ANZScode na nagrerequire ng certain ielts score eh yung nasa SOL2 or SS?

@legato09 - i have never heard/read about DIAC's requirement on a specific occupation.. they only care about your points and of course your skills assessment..

but yes, there will be IELTS requirements from your assessing agency, and/or the state if you are applying for SS, for some occupations (which may be different from the minimum IELTS requirements of DIAC)
so kung visa 189 ang applyan, you only need to satisfy the assessing agency and DIAC's IELTS requirements..

unless may bagong rule regarding this.. please correct me..

yes sir @LokiJr frustrated na po talaga ako =( sana this time ma sungkit ko na. sobra practice po ako ngayon sa reading.

@arlene5781 basta unahin mo yung question then check ung unang paragraph hanapin mo yung keyword from question against sa paragraph. kadalasan synonymous dun sa keyword from the question. in proper order naman sya. meaning hindi agad sa last paragraph makikita mo yung sagot. first question nasa unahan lng ang hanapan. last question nasa last na din.. yun ung na exp ko sa actual and practice...

kaya mo yan... good luck 🙂
