hi @cacophony , assessing body will give a date when you can start counting your work as relevant and claim points for. that's met date.

hmmm, not really sure pala about your case, kasi magkaiba tayo ng nominated skill..

I am a little paranoid after reading this thread.

Here's my case:

My ACS assessment result said that I can claim points for my experience after January 2009. I have been in continuous employment since Feb 2005. However, I entered the start date as Feb 2005 (because I don't know the proper way to fill up the form) and NOT Feb 2009 when I submitted my EOI last Feb 27, 2017. I have gotten the ITA March 29, 2017. Counting the years from Feb 2009 to Feb 27, 20017, I have 8 years experience; thus I claimed 15 points. Can you guys comment if this is going to be a problem, please? Thank you very much in advance!

I think what you should have done is to divide the work experience from the non claiming pts and for the claiming pts one. create 2 separate entry for each working experience.

example.

Feb 2005 - Jan 2009 : Non claiming pts

Feb 2009 - present : Claiming pts.

I suggest you to be on the safer side and don't risk of being refused because of over claiming pts. There's a recent visa refusal because of over claiming pts.

@Noodles12 : The thing is I have already lodged my visa application. All documents have been uploaded too. The current status is "Assessment in progress". Not sure what to do after reading the visa refusal recently.

I think you can try to submit a form for incorrect answer.

Hi Sir / Ma'am,

Good Afternoon and I am hoping that you are having a great day.

I am writing to inform this office that I did not create two separate entries for the working experience about non claiming/claiming points experience. The ACS assessment result said that I can only claim points for my experiences after January 2009, but I have entered the start date of employment from 2005 because I am not exactly sure about the way to reflect them in the form. What I do know is I have calculated carefully the number of years after January 2009 when I logged my EOI. After careful calculation, it has come to my attention that I have sufficient 8 years of experience to claim 15 points. I am little nervous that by NOT splitting them in two separate entries may cause issue because I have read in some forums that the proper way to reflect them is split in two entries. If that is the correct way to reflect them in any forms that DIBP needs, kindly let me know the process and I will make sure to do that way.

I am hoping that you can shed light on this matter.

Also, I have noticed that there is a form to notify incorrect answers (1023). Please advice if this will help or the above explanation would suffice. Thank you very much in advance.

I think send them this email and complete the form. I'm not sure if the CO that will receive this email will be the same to review your application.

Hello, with regards sa eoi, halimbawa sa acs ang nakalagay is after jan 2009, kaso ang nailagay ko na start ng relevant is jan 2009 and not feb 2009... kaso pagcheck ko, invited na ung eoi ko, magmamatter ba un even if hindi naman magbabago ung points?

@KimBokJoo in my opinion, you will just need to correct upon lodging ng visa, since di naman nagbago points mo eh. Just my 0.02. Let's wait for others who've experienced the same scenario.

hi! hows your application? may impact po ba yung paglagay mo sa eoi ng employment dates is not based sa skills assessment kahit na same points lang din naman. hope you can reply. thanks!

mga master, my kausap kasi akong agent, totoo ba yung sinasabi nya na yung continuous work experience ko na 7 years which is equivalent to 10 points may not be 10 points after all pag nag submit for assessment, just as well yung educational attainment? CPA board passer po ako, 10 points lang din po ba yun?

the only way to know is to have an assessment. pa assess mo na.

@shygirl012405 I dont think that this will be ground for visa refusal, if your CO set a deadline for PCC and then you wont be able to provide - you just need to inform them. It's not on your hand how long the processing right? CO should understand that 😉

medyo similar yung question ko kay @KimBokJoo nalagay ko kasi sa EOI yung end date ng isa kong employment is "April 30,2011" pero dapat tlga "April 16,2011" pero invited na ko.. pwede ko pa e correct na lang sa visa applicaton mismo? though yung employment na yan hindi naman ako mag cclaim ng points.. ok lang kaya yun na magkaina yung EOI and sa visa application mismo?
