sharing my airline ticket expenses.....

I was a krisflyer member since year 2011 and frequent flyer sa Singapore Airlines (thanks to my company and my job). Was able to spent only 833 sgd for 1 way ticket to Sydney for a family of four on a krisflyer redemption and instead of paying for 1224 sgd each (total 4896 sgd). Departure is set on Sept 27, see you soon Sydney and mates.

I booked CebuPac 1way MNL-SYD flight Feb 7, 2016, with Meal and Seat Selection fee included: PHP 7,500

Then plano ko na lang mag-add ng 40Kg na bagahe, around 3,000 pesos plus siguro yun.

I've already tried their SYD-MNL flight last December 2014 and it was a very pleasant experience 😉

@dantz15 suggest ko po mgpa abang kayu sa mga kamag-anak nio nasa Pinas (if ever MNLA-SYD route kayu)...yung browser ata ng Cebupac ndedetect yung location...I remembered nung ng visit ako sa Sydney ibang promo/rate yung nasa CebuPac na website. Or if you can tweak na hindi ma determine yung location nio sa browser.

@wizardofOz ang mura ng ticket mo. you have idea pag balikan mnl/syd/mnl nasa magkano sa Cebu pac na promo. bkit wala na ngayon ganun rate.

I booked earlier sa cebupac. Sale ung March nila. P6500 for 1 adult, with 1 meal, and 40kg baggage allowance. 🙂

The cheapest airfare i've search so far from Melbourne to Manila roundtrip is Brunei Airlines. Flight is 5-6 months ahead assuming naka plano yung bakasyon nyu.

Melbourne - Manila - Melbourne (ROUNDTRIP)

Price per person : Total AUD 709.00 (roughly P23,400)

Stop over : one in Brunei.

for those na may existing booking sa jetstar, ask ko lang how much yung 40kg na baggage if i-add ko sya after booking? medyo mabigat kasi if isasama ko na ngayon yung baggage. sabi kasi sa jetstar 'Adding checked baggage after booking costs a lot more.' 4900 kasi yung 40kgs pag isasabay sa booking. how much pag mag-add lang ng baggage sa exisiting booking? thanks!

@mgt21 sis isama mo na siya ngayon.. parang per kilogram basis na yata yung additional baggage nila kapag di binook kasabay ng airfare

@filipinacpa baka kasi pwede i-add after booking parang sa cebupac, hanggat ndi ka nag-ch-check in pwede pa mag-edit ng add-ons. hmmm. bigat din kasi 10K agad yung luggage. hahaha.

@kittykitkat18 ndi ko pa ntry jetstar ppunta sa Au. Scoot and Airasia ntry ko sa Au, bago plane ng scoot ngaun at comfortable nman un flight. Same din experience ko s Airasia. Madaling araw un flights kaya tulog ako buong flight.

@mgt21: pwede din naman un iadd mo na lang sa booking mo yun baggage allowance later on which madalas kong ginagawa pag nagsale ang Jetstar pag umuuwi kami sa Pinas though mas makakamura ka pag sinama mo na sa booking. 🙂 merong mga sale fare ang jetstar. yung tinitingnan ko now nasa 990SGD for three persons for 120kg allowance (40kg each for 70SGD). Jetstar ang first choice namin kasi mura sya and maganda naman mga experiences namin pauwing Pinas so I'm assuming maganda din yun bound to OZ.

Guys from SG check nyo ang SCOOT on Monday ng madaling araw. I've got our ticket for only 938SGD for three persons (1 child age 3) with 40 kg each baggage, seat allocation, wifi (for 1 person) and food for April 11 flight. meron akong promo code na nakita on their facebook account when I've booked our ticket last Monday.
