@BeBBang qng minimum ang 6yrs for ACS hindi kaya nila irequire na regular employment dapat? kasi sa EA may statement aq nabasa na dpt fulltime regular employment. Sa case mo if mag 6 yrs ka bale included na ung probationary. Have u verified if macconsider sa 6yrs un? Ksi if not baka magnegative at lalabas na less than 6 yrs ung sa iyo.

Sa case ko kasi concern q rin ito. 5yrs nq buo last may2014 and ilang months run proby aq bfore naregular. im worried baka pagclaim q ng 10point sa diac e ndi pla nila iccount ung 6mos na proby period q. If that happens dq alam if ground un for refusal or if bbbaan kng nla ang points at posible prin maapprove bsta mameet ung 60points.

@danz1213 hello po. Ok naman yung acs assessment ni hubby. 6yrs and 1mo nung nagpa assess sya - that includes his proby period total of 6mos (3 companies). Positive assessment naman.

Different case po kasi ang ACS at EA, I think. Nagbabawas talaga ng yrs of exp ang ACS. It is clearly stated sa assessment result kung kelan ka lang nila na qualify as having skilled employment. So from there, clear talaga kung ilang yrs lang ang pwede mong i-claim. I am not sure kung ganun din ang case sa EA.

@BeBBang, yup, I mean your (or your hubby's) situation before, when you got a negative assessment due to less-than-6-years experience.

Naisip ko lang na baka yan na din yung sagot na hinahanap ni @joseflim, na kailangan niya magkaroon ng 6 years exp para magkaroon ng mas magandang chance for a positive result.

@BeBBang @altuser41 Makulit po talaga ako, tatlong beses ata ako pinanganak. hahaha! Pero seriously po, just really looking for a way kasi gusto ko humabol sa girlfriend ko. So I guess Employer-Sponsored lang talaga chance ko now 🙁

@joseflim hahaha, makulit ka nga. same process din kasi bro, dadaan ka pa din sa ACS assessment kahit na employer-sponsored visa ka pa. si GF mo ba ok ng points? bat di muna kayo magpakasal ni GF? para isama ka na nya sa visa application nya as dependent. 🙂

@joseflim Yung course ko is Computer Engineering from a Section 1 school. I read from ACS na meron kasi specific guidelines and sa 2611 ICT BA, meron mga subjects or topics dun na basis na wala sa Comp Eng'g. Though pasado naman yung score ko at 60 points without SS, I applied for another assessment under 263111 pang-backup. Broad kasi scope ng responsibilities ko kaya covered sa COEs.

Check mo 'tong dalawang files. I believe yung ICT Units sa ANZSCO Descriptions ay basis para ma-compare sa Course Descriptions natin.

@BeBBang Tama! Ang hirap ng IELTS sis, need talaga seryosohin ang pag review para ma meet ang band 7. Ako ang instructor ni hubby during review kaya alam ko ang hirap hehehe

@johnvangie dati akala ko madali lang ang ielts. When i started reviewing, dun ko nakita na di sya simpleng bagay. Kelangan seryoso talaga sa review else sayang ang bayad. Tsaka pag nakataya ang kinabukasan mas stressful palang mag exam. Hahaha.

Excited pa nga sya mag exam dati, kasi kung iisipin, English lang yan, sanay tayong mga Pinoy dyan:-) During review, nakiki sit in ako sa review ng agent namin, grabeh sakit sa ulo ko! Pag di kasi na meet ang band 7, hirap humanap ng pwede pagkuhanan ng 10pts. OT tayo sis, usapang IELTS na. I pm kita :-)

This one simply tells me that I need 6 years of relevant work experience since I do not have an ICT-Major or Minor. Pero actually, sa ICT-Minor part, I am a bit intrigued kung anung ibig sabihin nun. I took up Business Management in college but we had a Management Information Systems subject. Does that fall as a ICT-Minor for ACS?

For this one, the one that fits me best is 261112 and 261111. This is the one that best fits the work I have been doing in the past 4 years. Yung closely related ba or additional closely related is the ICT-Minor?
