me and my husband are planning to apply for:

Hubby : Computer Network and Systems Engineer 263111. work exp >10yrs na

Me: ICT business Analyst 261111 or Systems Analyst 261112. hoping they will open on july 2015. work exp: 2yrs tech support at lextmark R&D, 3yrs software engineer NCR CDC, 5yrs jr. executive but doing BA work in construction company in UAE

And this is our story, we are already in the final stage of getting a student visa (Nov2015 intake, im the main applicant). hubby prefer that i will be the main applicant bec he's not confident of passing the ielts. during the documentation stage and while reading this forum, we found out that i am qualified to apply for skillselect.

please enlighten me which path to take considering that we will be sending our kids back to the phils this june2015.

ilang buwan normally bago ma-nominate nga state?
ano po kaibahan nga 189 and 190?
if we will go for skillselect, normally ilang buwan bago magrant ang visa?

hoping and praying na may makapagbigay ng saguton and much appreciated for any inputs po.

We used Agency to help us for the visa. My question lang po why apply Student visa when you are qualified to apply as skilled immigrant? regards sa cost ng processing I think parehas lang gagastusin nyo or more plus the days na masasayang if you opt to apply for 189 vs Student visa.

If I were you po I will save more funds while waiting for your visa application ( visa 189) and ang maganda pa kasama mo pa family mo while waiting and if granted kasama mo din.

Napakahirap ng di kasama ang anak just like me nasa SG ako and my family are in Manila, That is why I am praying hard na ma-grant kami ng VISA para sa AUS sama-sama kami.

Right now I am saving all the money I can bago ako umuwi pinas and wait for the VISA ( sana magkavisa nga)

depende po lagi pero sa mga timeline average

ano po kaibahan nga 189 and 190?

visa 189 - can stay anywhere in AUS , visa 190 need to stay 2 years sa state na nag sponsor sayo

if we will go for skillselect, normally ilang buwan bago magrant ang visa?

skillselect? Is this the NSW way of sponsoring.. If yes then mahirap magsabi po dapat ganito din ang path namin since wala na invitation sa 261111 ICT BA for visa 189 pero we chose to wait sa July 1 nalang para visa 189 kami instead of 190.

I only pray na sana walang magbago requirements sa ICT BA or hindi sya matangal sa SOL..

@grant512 : hi po. very informative ang binigay mong advice and very inspiring then.

agency din po kami and waiting po sa result ng assessment from our agency's marketing staff. ito nlng po ang hinihintay naming sign if we will push through sa visa189/190 or student visa. I am not losing hope po since umpisa pa lang po ito and i know God will provide all we need. I have trust and faith in Him.

HAlos sabay lang po timeline natin kakasubmit lang namin ng EOI pero sa July 1 pa invitation eh so sana mga August mainvite na kami for visa lodging.

May friend po ako student sila magasawa umalis sila last year and 1 year na po sila sa AUS not sure if they apply for visa 189 na. Yung mga anak po nila iniwan nila pinas so hindi nila nakita for 1 year. Nalilito din ako kasi Accounting po yung girl at IT yung guy with experiences na din naman sila since ka batch ko po pero they opted to apply for student visa.

Hi,

My wife applied for a NSW nomination last June 13 and got selected June 17 with her qualification of ICT BA. We received an ITA June 25 and lodged our visa application July 21. We are already done with the uploading and medicals and are just waiting for our CO to contact us.

What I would suggest is you try going the 190 path. It would cost you an additional $300 though. But I think processing of 190 is much faster than that of a 189.

Hindi ko sure bakit hindi ako nakareceive ng invite for August. May nagsuggest lang din dito from another topic na i-try ko i-withdraw yung current EOI ko at magsubmit ng panibago dahil baka may problem dun sa unang application ko.. Trying my luck again.

Update din po kayo sa mga mabibigyan ng invite this month. Good luck and God bless us all!
