Hi everyone! Just hang in there and you will get your visa in time. My application was officially received on July 1, 2013 and my visa was granted on March 10, 2014. Nagkaproblema pa nga ako kasi initial entry date ko ay March 11, 2014. O di ba, gusto ko nang sumigaw ng Darna noon! Anyway, this was settled eventually. Payo ko lang, pay attention to all details on all your correspondences from the Embassy. Lalo na pag dumating ang grant, please check all details mula sa pangalan nyo (lalo na kapag bagong kasal lang kayo at nagpalit ng passport sa kalagitnaan ng application), passport details at lalung-lalo na sa initial entry date. Should any of you encounter a similar problem (pero sana wag naman. sana ako na lang yung last), make sure to respond to that mail so your complaints are documented. You can then call VIA, they will make sure that your CO will contact you.
Isa sa natutunan ko sa mga Aussies nung first few visits ko ay "We'll all get there eventually." Di sila nakikipag-unahan sa pila kasi nga naman pagkahaba-haba man ng prusisyon, sa simbahan din ang tuloy 🙂
