Ask ko lang po what are the pre departure requirements aside from visa evidencing. Yung PDOS, sa POEA po ba or sa CFO?

yes, kelangan kahit immigrant ang PDOS. It is a Phil gov't requirement.

VISA Evidencing:

Lalagyan lang ng VISA sticker yung passport mo (+ dependents).

This I got from "Information Sheet 07 - Visa Evidencing – 1209" in immi.gov.au:

A number of visa categories are processed in Australia, regardless of where the applicant resides. Once your visa is granted by a processing centre in Australia, you will be provided with approval advice by letter or email and asked to get your visa label evidenced at an overseas post.

How to get your visa evidenced

You can lodge your passport for evidencing either at the Visa Information and Application (VIA) Center or arrange for courier pick up throughout the Philippines through the Call Centre. A service fee applies.

You should send your passport at least one week before your proposed travel.

The VIA Center

No prior appointments are needed to attend the VIA Center. The VIA Centers are located at:

Metro Manila

Metro Cebu

The Center opening hours are:

The Center is closed on Philippines public holidays.

thanks for the info. already had my passport evidence then. follow up question if you don't mind. Do i need to have PDOS again if I had it already 3 years ago? by the way I have PR visa independent class 175. another questions is do i need to get POEA thing i forgot the term which cost 100 pesos and will exempt you from paying the travel tax and airport fee. I think the better question is that could I avail of that in order not to pay the travel tax and the airport fee.

No idea really on the POEA thing which, I think, is termed as OEC.

For the PDOS seminar, the lecturer said that once a VISA expires, so does the CFO sticker. So if you have the CFO sticker and your VISA is still valid, I guess its still ok. But to be sure, I suggest you contact CFO first.

hi mate! just to add. dun sa mga may immirant visa na. you could withdraw all your PAGIBIG contributions.. kung dun na din naman talaga kayo maninirahan sa OZ. pandagdag din sa budget nyo.

Maaaring kunin ng miyembro ang kanyang kabuuang impok o total accumulated value (TAV) pagkatapos ng 20 taon at pagkatapos niyang maghulog ng 240 na buwanang kontribusyon. Pwede ring ibalik ang kanyang TAV bago sumapit ang 20 taon sa alinman sa sumusunod na kadahilanan:

• 15-year optional withdrawal (kailangang ang miyembro ay may 180 buwanang hulog na walang patlang at siya ay walang utang. Kailangang ipagpatuloy ang pagiging miyembro matapos kunin ang impok.)

• pag abot sa edad na 60;

• mandatory retirement sa edad 65

• total disability/insanity;

• pagkaalis sa trabaho dahil sa sakit o karamdaman;

• pag-alis ng permanente sa Pilipinas; at

• pagkamatay.

Narefund mo na ba PAG-IBIG contributions mo? If so, mga ilang weeks mo hinintay yung refund pagkatapos mo mag-file?

@Saken not yet, but I'm planning to. Next week pa ko magsubmit ng requirements. kasi kailangan on or before 60days after mo magsubmit e aalis ka na ng bansa. March 23 kasi (planned) alis ko. according dun sa nakausap ko. atleast 2weeks after mag submit ng requirements e makukuha na yung check (good as cash na daw).

Just an advice din.. if you still have a copy of all your payslips.. i-add nyo lahat ng contributions nyo para pwede kayo magcontest if kulang yung refund ng PAGIBIG.

Requirements for Pagibig withrawal.

Application for Provident Benefits Form (downlodable in PAGIBIG website)
Passport and VISA (photocopy and original)
Sworn Declaration of Intention to depart from the Philippines (downloadable in PAGIBIG website)
Photocopy of 2 valid ids with date of birth (passport, sss id)

Submit to the PAGIBIG office on where your current employer remits.

saang government agency ka nag PDOS? kung sa CFO at may CFO sticker na ang passport mo, then well and you are good to go. kung sa POEA, hindi yan yung emigrant/immigrant sticker for filipino migrants.

the POEA thing, di mo po kelangan nun.. basta pag punta mo sa airport.. pila ka sa travel tax.. tapos, pakita mo dun yung CFO sticker mo at visa.. so yung babayaran mo na lang is 200 pesos as opposed to 1600++.. personal experience ko po eto nung nagpunta ako doon. punta ka sa airport 3 hrs before your flight kase walang sistema ang NAIA pagdating sa ganyan. naiwan ako ng plane ko dahil sa pagpila lang ng mga taxes at fees.

about the airport fee. ang alam ko, hindi exempted ang mga migrants/pinoy na PR ng ibang bansa dun.. parang OFW lang ata ang exempted.. kung 457 visa ka, dapat OEC ata at sa POEA ka makipagusap.. pero kung migrant, CFO sticker at CFO ang kelangan mo kontakin.

Nung pumunta ka ba ng Oz is sa IOM mo binili ticket mo? Sa akin kasi sa IOM at pupunta pa lang ako ng Oz. Sabi ng IOM included na Phil Travel Tax dun sa Ticket na binili ko sa kanila. Problema di nakaindicate dun sa e-ticket na binigay nila na bayad nga yun. Sabi nila di pa naman daw nagkakaproblema yung mga bumili sa kanila ng ganung issue at di naman naquestion clients nila kung nabayaran na ba Phil Travel Tax o hindi.

Gusto ko lang makasigurado.

IOM does not support airlines with flights to Perth,WA so, nag Singapore airlines ako..

baka dapat hingi ka na lang ng details ng included sa airfare na binili mo sa kanila.. pero if ever bayad ka na sa travel tax, malalaman mo yan sa check-in counter ng airline mo.. pano pala sistema ng IOM, will they provide you with a tangible ticket ba? baka nandun details?

Perth ka pala.

Bale sa IOM, bayad ka sa Chinabank Account nila tapos ieemail sa iyo yung eticket. Ang problema sa e-ticket andun yung ticket price at Phil Travel Tax na item pero walang values/blanko.

Humingi na ako ng additional docs pero resibo lang binigay nila na hindi nakaitemize yung ticket items. Anyway, ok na, nag-assure naman sila na hindi magkakaproblema.

@Saken: Question po about PDOS, ano pong form ung fifill-upan kapag ung visa is subclass 176, may 2 registration form po kasi na pagpipilian para fill-upan, ano po kaya dun, ung Informatation sheet for filipino emigrants or information sheet for filipino immigrant workers? ska anytime po ba, pede ng mag-PDOS kahit ung flight is 2-3 months from now?? Thanks in advance po sa reply. 🙂
