Thanks for the suggestions. I did call the testing center but I got a negative answer. It is the prime ID and nothing else. I even suggested my government ID's back home. eheheheh.
Anyway, the sad part is I'm not going home this Christmas anymore because of this passport problem. If I would go home, my employer has to process my work visa before Dec 1 as my IELTS retake scheduled and basically would need my passport for the process because they are worried that if i come back on January after the holiday, I might get a difficulty in immigration since my work visa expires on February. They cannot wait for my passport after Dec 1 since they have calculated the processing time that would coincide with my proposed date of my flight to PI by Dec 13 in which they said the process wouldn't catch my departure. SO ngaun, sabi ko hindi nlng ako uuwi... sayang ang pagkakataon na makapag-pasko sa pinas! Sana my decision for the IELTS is worth it!
Just finished reviewing in reading...I've learned one thing--once u have the answer for a certain item, double check the succeeding details and verify whether it supports the main idea
of your chosen answer coz sometimes they words itself appear in other paragraphs which can possibly deceive as we scan for the keywords.
for the TRUE/FALSE/NOT GIVEN or Yes/NO/NOT GIVEN- the 'wording' matters a lot. The statements in the question is the synonym or antonym or making inference of the word declared in the text. Just like for example: 20th century=a decade and a half (True or false, NG?), religious practises-buddhism, odour- sense of smell, discarded- not included, stacked one on top of another- fitting loosely over each other, 80% within locality- 20% outside the local area...minsan mabubuwang ka sa kakahanap ng keywords, tapos wala kang mahanap, ayun pla--pinalitan lng ng ibang katawagan o vocab...tsk3x!
LORD, thanks for the strength.
