@kickerz average/OBS does not matter in ielts, score in every module matters. you can't claim 10pts for ielts if you have less than 7 in any module.

Also, it does not mean if you retake, it will nullify your previous takes. the one you will submit to the authority is the one they will treat as your official ielts score. syempre pipiliin mo yung mataas.

Isang narealized ko while practicing for IELTS, mas magandang magfocus sa writing. This way, not only yung writing skills ang nappractice, but reading and speaking as well as you may need to do some research on writing letters and essays. And it really helps if you read it aloud. Try lang na wag maoverwhelmed sa magagandang essays na nababasa at baka madiscourage kayo katulad nang nangyayari sakin. Hahaha..

Just finished my exam last weekend. Nakatulong talaga yung cambridge reviewers at mga youtube videos(for speaking)..

in my case, nahirapan ako sa listening.. dahil cguro nanibago ako I usually use earphones pag ngppractice, tapos sa actual test is speakers lang. I found the speakers sa exam a bit boomy at nde masyado malinaw compared sa nakasanayan ko na earphones..

now i'm waiting for the results.. fingers crossed! sana pasado......

@clickbuddy2009 hi nkapag exam nko sa IDP Singapore dn. normal naman un kabahan at yung mawala sa focus and tamarin at times pero nung last wk ko nag mindset ako na magfocus ng sobra kahit last wk lang. Sagot sagot ng practice test everyday. Nung exam proper ninerbyos ako sa speaking exam kasi isip ko kung magkalat ako sa written (LRW) test ako lang nkakaalam unlike speaking. Hahaha! Ang prayer ko tlg dbale ng wala akong sobrang taas bsta wala lang akong below 7 para d nako magretake. Aral aral at practice more po to gain confidence and of course pray. 🙂

for writing test ok naman cia, nde ko na nga lang nabilang ilan words naisulat ko, but i think it's sufficient naman.

Nde ko na masyado matandaan yung exact phrases na ginamit, but here's the idea..

Part 1 (150 words): You saw some ad that needs somebody to look after a house in Scotland while the owner is away.

Write some details about yourself
Write the reason why you would like to take up the job
Start with Dear Sir or Madam,

Part 2 (250 words): Popularity of Mobile/Cell phones on young people

Discuss advantages/disadvantages
Conclusion

Goodluck! kayang kaya yan, basta focus, practice at be confident =)

Hello po sa lahat, I'm going to sit my IELTS exam on 17th of August, but I have one question. I need to arrange to send the result of my exam directly to the assessing authority but the center where I registered said that I should be the one to send it since they don't have this option. So my question is, How do I go about this since the assessing authority (EA) requires it to have the result sent directly to them? Will they accept it if the result was sent by me?

I hope matulungan nyo po ako kasi sayang naman kung di nila tatanggapin ung result in case makuha ko ung band na tinatarget ko.

@michel sa World English Inc. Actually self study lang ako, pero sa kanila ako nagparegister since sila yung malapit na agent ng BC sa location ko sa pampanga.

@leewrox2013, dyan sa Wo0rld English ako nagreview for 3 weeks. 😃 try mong mag-attend nung final coaching ni Lee few days before the exam, may bayad kaso maliit lang, aroung 150 pesos yata. malaki ang maitutulong sayo. pero kung sa tingin mo confident ka na, kahit siugro wag na.

at kung sa Oasis Hotel ang venue ng exam, wag kang aalis kaagad after ng exam. kasi may refreshment na clubhouse at iced tea. andaming umalis sa amin nung nag take kami kaya binigay sa aming mga natira yung ibang merienda. lol

hello guys, lumabas na ang results ko sa IELTS.

at naging totoo nga ang kinakatakutan ko, i got low banding sa listening kc boomy or bassy for me yung speakers during the test.. but i got R-9, L-7, W-7 and an overall of 7.5.

ang katanungan, since 6.5 lng writing ko makukuha ko pa din ba yung 10 points sa points for english proficiency? sa overall ba based ang score?

@bluesteel31 you did great on your reading... that's the perfect score. anyway, to answer your question, dahil below 7.0 band ka for listening, you can't claim 10 points. according to diac rule:

<i>IELTS score of at least 7 on each of the four components of the test— speaking, reading, writing and listening</i></i>

pwede kaya mg re-take? though i can proceed with skills assesment base sa current results, preo posible ba iupdate yung ielts results ko after i retake para maclaim ko ang 10 points for band 7?
