Wish ko nga sana makakuha mas mataas kasi napakaganda nga naman yung walang inaalala din pero wala talaga yun na yun so kung iadvise ako ng agent magretake then ok lang haha atleast sana makatsamba maraming salamat madami din ako nakukuha ditong tekniks

@iamfi aww. Pwede naman po akong tumulong sa pagproofread but I don't know how to actually grade/markaccording to IELTS standards. PM nyo na lang po ako or if you don't mind, you may post your essays here para makuha rin natin feedback from other members. 🙂

Good job getting 60 points without IELTS! Para hindi ka ka mag worry, you may check the Perth website if there are state-specific English proficiency requirements for your occupation. Kung wala, no need to retake!

I think no need. He's good to go. He already got 60 points so he can proceed with his 189 visa application. He can choose wherever state he wants na. Just my two cents. But @thegreatiam15 may confirm this as well 🙂

Hi to all members here. I just want to ask if there is some instances that the score you saw in the internet become different when you claim it in the testing center like IDP. Di kasi ako makapaniwala na I got good score in speaking. Pinakamahinang subject ko talaga is English. Mahina ako sa speaking and writing but I am practicing to improve. Below are scores that I got when I search on IDP, tomorrow I will get the Test Report Form:

Listening = 7.5

Reading = 8.0

Writing & Speaking = 5.5

I expect that I will got only 4.0 on speaking dahil disaster ang nangyari sa interview ko.

By the way I am planning to migrate to Canada, I join this site for IELTS tips and sharing. I took General test and I need at least 4.0 to migrate.

In my case pareho naman ang results when in checked online sa nasa actual Test Report Form. That's highly unlikely na magkaiba so let me congratulate you for getting the scores that you need 🙂

@thegreatiam15 good to hear that you don’t need the band 7 in all four sub-tests. Buti ka pa, ako I need to get OBS 7.5 without a score lower than 7 in each band, thus I need to get at least 29.5 to 30 total raw score. Mahirap ang pathway ko, 3 components kasi ang occupation and professional assessment ko, 1st stage pa lang na cleared ko occupation and education assessment, then I need to take qualifying exam pa. Inisip ko nga kasi, to date may 60 points na ako, I want to try sana mag lodge ng EOI kaya lang baka mag ka conflict with Australian Pharmacy Council.

So it means @Al5yd, you can take either Acad or General. Your choice. 🙂

Actually, it doesn't matter for migration purposes. The DIBP (or DIAC) does not specify either which type of IELTS migration applicants should take. In general, GT is fine unless specified by their skills assessing authority.</blockquote>

I have checked the DIBP sites and found this:

Go to Page 20 then yung last paragraph about evidence to support your application:

Unless you are required to do otherwise (Academic IELTS) by your assessing authority you only need to take general test.

So ang understanding ko e General Exam talaga ang dapat kunin like for IT like me. I can't choose Academic if I want to kasi yung accessing authority ko which is ACS e walang requirement to take either of the 2 exams.

You only need to take GT but there is no restriction that you can't take Academic if you want to.

iniintay ko lang mga bossing at mam yung confirmation nang ahente...excited ako kasi nakaraos na din sa ielts compliance pero akala ko kasi makukuha ko sobrang baba tipong di ko magugustuhan tapos sobrang dramatic nang effect nito sa application ko...yun pala hinde...

kaya naover excited din ako sa mga lumitaw na numbers...anyway atleast IMO alam ko capacity ko lang pagdating sa english...: )

Korek. If you're assessing authority doesn't require ielts, you can either take gt or acad your choice. Either DIBP does not require a specific module of ielts.🙂

I was worried sa score ko for speaking coz I thought hindi masyado maganda yun interview...it went fast and I was talking too fast. yun writing (together with R/L) medyo confident ako kase hindi naman ganun kahirap yun topics ko, letter to tell a friend good news. saka something about people joining dangerous sports.

gaano katagal pag nagpa recheck? saka how much? short pa naman sa budget T_T

@fyi_12 mataas naman yung results mo sa iba, I have a good feeling na successful magiging remarking mo for writing. P7K ata EOR fee pero mas matagal lumabas result around a month or longer ata. Not sure, may mga remarking threads dito check mo n lang.

it is your own gutfeel if you are confident that your writing score shall go up. pero you might want to consider a plan B which is sitting for another test while waiting for remark results which takes about 8 weeks or less. in my case i did remarking twice with no luck.

@sonsi_03..i see. mataas din scores mo sa ibang sections, pero no luck pa din sa pagpapa recheck. unahin ko muna yun pa recheck akala ko nasa 5k lang halos same price din pala ng exam fee. :-O

@appledeuce sana nga maging totoo ang paniniwala natin =)). pero i might reconsider na din sitting in for another exam. matagal din kase yun result pala ng remarking, tapos not sure din naman how it will go. #-o

yeah whichever you choose, as long as kailangan for your pathway. kayang kaya mo yan.
