Share some tips on IELTS

Hello Everyone,

May nakapagdownload na ba dito ng Cambridge IELTS 1 thru 8 Book + Audio? Gusto ko lang malaman kung inaral nyo po from 1 thru 8 , nagaalala lang kas ako dahil iniisip ko kung aralin ko pa 1 thru 5 eh baka luma na materials at irrelivant na sa actual test.

Hindi ko din nakita kung for General ba or Academics eh..

Please help 🙁

Just a question, am not sure if it's for General or Academics but will it matter babe kung only listening and reading any irereview ko?

Sa last Saturday and Sunday of March na ang exam ko... mejo kulelat na ata ako..

Sa listening, nahihirapan pa din ako sa dialogue section 4.. usually score ko is 33 to 37 /40 or 41.. nasa 7.0 na kaya ito?

Sa reading naman yung mahahabang passages ang nagpapahirap pero nakapagadjust nako by getting tips sa youtube to improve my score..

Hehe sana lahat ng score ko is 7.0 I higit pa...

@Stoked0419 magkaiba kasi ang reading and writing ng general and academic. So mas ok kung makareview ka ng kung ano yong kelangan mo. Sa writing para maging aware ka kung anong writing task ang ibinibigay. sa reading naman, medyo magkaiba rin. 🙂

I am curious. which is harder on both Listening and Reading Exams.

The Cambridge practice sets or the actual exam?

Also, on the Reading Exam are we allowed to underline/highlight texts on the passages?

Still, wala pa din nagsasabi sa akin kung yung cambridge ielts 1 - 8 ba is for general or academic?

@Stoked0419 - if you have opened those reviewers.. you will see that there is a part for GT and specific for Academic.. Listening and Speaking are the same for both, but diff for Reading and Writing ( Essay part) . I reckon, Reading and Writing are harder for Academic.

Hi guys! 28th of Feb na exams ko but still not prepared yet. Hahaay nakakapagod kasi full time kasi work ko sa nursing home kasi school break.. I need 7 all bandscore.. Tssskkk.. Pano ba kaya...

@janinlee advantage mo na andyan ka na sa AU kasi napapractise mo ang english panigurado.

Full time rin ako sa work when I took the IELTS exam, naglaan lang ako ng few hours during weekends to review. Maganda rin mareview yong type ng exam para pagdating mo dun alam mo i-expect mo. 🙂

Go over cambridge 1-9 reviewer. good materials yan.

Thanks for the encouragement sir/ma'am. May cambridge na rin ako 1-9. Natapos ko na yong 1 & 2. May nagawa na rin akong writing task 1. Pero walang nag ki-critique sa work ko kasi hindi naman ako pumapasok sa review center kasi ang mahal dito.. I am considering OET now kasi daw easier siya compared to ielts.

May tanong po ako mga sir, mga ma'am. Ung sa listening po ba, di ba may papakinggan dun? Anu po un sila po magnanavigate ung audio or my chance po ang mga test taker na magnavigate?

Ung audio po ba kanya knya ung mga test taker ng headset or buong classroom or testing room na iplay po?

@meechan_rn pplay lang nila yung audio ..magsasalita ang nasa audio.. so makinig kana.. sasabihin ng nasa audio kung ano number ang sasagutan. example 1 to 7.. pm mo ko . bigyan kita sample .send ko .. sa room yun.. ipplay. di naka headset. so pwede may mga destruction sa paligid hehe

Tips for IELTS based on my own experience. I did not have the budget & time to apply for the review course so I just did a self-review. Aside from the free reviewer you get when you register for the IELTS exam I installed a free app called "IELTS SKILLS", its very useful as long as you dont cheat yourself. hehehe. I also listened to BBC radio instead of listening to music at work. This will help you alot especially in the listening part of the test.

Nope. walang headset. centralized speakers lang & keep in mind they will only play it once....walang pause or replay. So you have to really stay focused on listening & at the same time read & answer the questionaire fast.
