Hello Good People,
As Promised, here is how my Test goes in Vienna today :
Listening- Inquiries on day care center, Whale watching dialogue and monologue about the famous photographer and its collections.
- I think I did well with this test but the multiple choices are quite tricky!
Reading- Purchasing New and used cash registers, Company security systems, Bus Services informations and Long passages on Glaciers formation.
- The most tricky part is the True/False/Not Given part but I think I managed it quite well.
Writing- Write a letter to your friend about an object you borrowed which you accidentally destroyed and Task 2 - Some people change careers at some point of their lives? Do you agree or disagree?
- This is quite easy in my part especially on Task 2 because I myself is a career changer. I think that I nailed this test down because I still have enough time left to check my grammar and spelling.
Speaking- Personal questions about jobs, Asking me about how I like dancing, do people dance in the Philippines. Cue card- Talk about old people you love to talk to and why?.
Third round- What are the importance, contribution, things to do with, importance and working old people.
- I did manage to answer all the questions but I think I dont like some of my answers on Dancing because Im not into it. On the cue card, I think I speak so fast that I had already spoke like 7 sentences but the interviewer still signaled me to talk more. I had some confusions with the old people questions. though I answered it spontaneously, I'm not sure if I answered the question well.
Overall I'm very satisfied with my general test performance but Im not sure about the speaking. What do you think @Lokijr and @itchan?

Hi Chefin, I did IELTS very recently. I am from UAE and we have exactly the same type of tests except for Speaking. I had a doubt also with that "Apron" which eventually I decided to write on as my answer. Was the answer to #1 "37.50" ; the listening part started just too quick that I missed it. By the way, If you don't mind me asking about, why do you consider going to AU when you are currently there in Austria which is part of Europe? Where do you intend to live & work in OZ? Thanks and God bless.
