Acceptable sources of funds/show money

Other than being sponsored by a relative, either from AU or here in the Philippines, what are other acceptable source of funds/show money for applying for student visa that you know or used on your application?

I only used the time deposits of my parents from accepted banks. 🙂 Just make sure that you present them the bank's terms and to emphasize that your sponsor can withdraw the money as you need it. 🙂

Alam ko hindi pwede yung equity funds or stocks kasi di sila as liquid compared to a fixed deposit (time deposit) or a regular savings account.

nastress kasi kami dahil yung co ko is telling us that our source of funds is not accepted/considered daw. last year kasi we sold my wife's share sa lot nila to his brother. Then we started lensing the money, with interest of course. Nung nagdecide na kami na we wanted to do the student visa app to AU, kinausap namin lahat ng nanghiram sa amin na we need the paymenta by April. Come May e we got enough money para sa funds namin then deposited it.

@bellaparaiso What the CO is telling us is di valid yung source of funds because galing sa property na binenta from last year. Sinabi ko naman na kaya naman binenta yun is for us to start a lwnding business pero the CO insisted na galing pa din sa property. Hay ....

Pero kung nasa accepted bank na naman sya at di nagalaw for 3 months prior to your application sa pagkakaalam ko accepted yun since naconvert na sya into cash. May money pa ba kayo sa ibang bank na accepted ng embassy? Kasi yung isa naming bank account from a cooperative bank lang kaya di sya accepted. Kaya ginawa namin, inipon namin lahat ng banko na recognized na merong deposit yung parents ko at yun yung prinesent namin sa embassy. Minsan may kalabuan rin ang mga CO.

Ay di ko nabasa yung isa mong reply. Kung ngayong may nyo lang dineposit yung account, kailangan pa nya ng 3 months sa banko bago ka makapag lodge ng application. May kilala ba kayong immmigration lawyer or lawyer na familiar lang with Australian immigration?

@bellaparaiso Kung yun yung sinabi ng CO namin baka matanggap ko pa e pero ang dinadahilan niya talaga is dahil nag originate yung money from selling a property. Bitter mode lang tlaga ... di niya naman kami dineny pero may taning na hanggang first week of July dapat makapagproduce ng ibang source if funds ... hay ...

Minsan malabo yung CO. Share ko lang yung nangyari sakin... Binigay ko na yung bank certificate and terms ng bank deposit samin tas nag email ba naman yung CO ko na dapat mag provide ako ng proof na mahuhugot ko yung funds from the time deposit anytime. Ginawa ko humingi ulit ako ng terms sa banko tapos hinighlight ko yung terms tapos nagemail din ako sa kanya explaining na mahuhugot ang pera sa banko kaya wag syang mag-alala.

Same document lang yung prinesent ko pero nakahighlight na yung kailangan nyang mabasa. Para kasing tinatamad magbasa yung CO. Hehe.

Depende. po yan sir. Ano po ba ang proof of funds niyo? May sponsor po ba kayo? Via bank loan po ba? Dyan po tayo magsisimula.

@ozdreamer0323 Hi po..Makikibalita sana ako sa inyo dito. Actually, medyo same ang situation ko sa inyo. Source of fund ko naman is from a mortgaged property. D daw acceptable yun kya pinapa submit ako ng iba pang source of income documents. Ano po bang sinubmit niyo sa inyo?

@jon back to back loan ginawa ko at sponsor ng tita ko. Refused pa din po nga lng ako.

@ozdreamer0323 may result na pala sa inyo. akala ko pwede ang loan? pwede pa share reason ng refusal? intake ko na po sa Monday and yet klangan ko pang mgsubmit ng additional income stream daw. nag aalala din ako sa result ng application ko.

@jon yun din ang alam ko e. hindi daw pwede ang back to back loan. Ganun kasi ginawa ko e. loan against deposit yun. di daw valid.

@ozdream ty po pero ask ko lang if updated copy po ba ito? Ang alam ko po kasi first 12 months na lang po ang need i provide as proof of funds based on the March update ng immi ...
