Yup, big 4. Transition in terms of ano ba?

Lumipat ako to another big 4 firm kasi kaya nangangapa sa system at methodologies nila pero kung paano mag audit ng account balances parehas lang naman. Syempre yung tax, wala kasing tax dun sa pinanggalingan ko.

My experience - Auditing in pinas, dubai and australia are all the same - pare parehong maraming trabaho. Work late at night and during the weekends are normal esp during busy season.

Difference is sa pinas and dubai, nagstay sa client or office mga tao to work. Here in melbourne, wala ka na halos makikita after 6pm sa office. However, people do work at home haha</blockquote>

Pwdeng-pwde pero dapat may big4 background ka na. You can also go through the Advisory route para hindi naman talaga requirement ang pagiging CA or CPA aus pero dapat open ka for other certs like cia, crisc, cybersecurity, etc. Boring ang assurance, mas ok ang advisory, hehe joke lng.

Kasi if ever ma-invite po ako for subclass 489, which is a provisional, family-sponsored visa, is it possible that firms in the Big 4 like EY (since nasa EY PH po ako ngayon) will hire me? Nag-scan po kasi ako ng careers section ng EY Melbourne, for example, kailangan permanent resident daw. Will visa 489 count? Kasi after 1 yr of full time work and 2 yrs of living in a designated area, pwede naman na po mag-apply for permanent residence visa through subclass 887. Will highly appreciate your response and sa mga other members din po dito. TIA 🙂

Newbie here. 🙂

I initially planned to apply for 189/190 visa but due to financial constraints (since the sweldo of a normal auditor here in the Philippines is like ughhhhh :-& ) i think i would settle for 457 muna. Hope you can help me land a job or you may suggest companies na nagggrant ng 457 sponsorship. 🙂 I have more than 3 years of meaningful experience sa audit (one of the Big4s) and have extensive experience sa SOX audit. Lilibre kita ng dinner pag nirefer mo ko. Hahahaha! Nainterview na ko ng HR sa Nexia Australia 2 weeks ago pero never heard from them ever since. 🙁 🙁 🙁

Will still pursue my PR dream pero i'm currently looking for other options to enter Australia and I think 457 is a sound option.

Any advice from the experts here (ang amazing nyo po, btw :-bd )?

Baka pwede po magparefer? Either sa Financial Audit or Risk Assurance (internal audit/business risk and controls?). Kahit fixed term or permanent. Hehe. Salamat!

@misterV make sure akma sa requirements and description ng CV mo sa opening, else ma filter out la sya agad. are you from big 4 sa pinas?

@batman I tailor fit my CVs with the requirements as much as I can pero iba ata talaga pag nalaman nilang asa pinas pa. I had 2 years sa big 4 then 2 years sa bank.

@misterV kong may visa ka nmann na doesn't matter kong san ka man. Pero kong at least 4-5 years ka sa big 4 ma papansinin ang CV.
