VETASSESS ASSESSMENT - How long?

Ako nman patapos na vetassess lol kahit ang gulo. Ielts tapos na last feb pa, pero maybe wait for 1 month or 2, kasi kulang pa pambayad sa visa. Kung pwede sana installments hehe

Shocks, ngayon ko lang sinubukan idownload sa ibang pc yung application record ko sa vetassess. This time complete ang information na nakalagay sa form, while yung nadownload ko last time na naipasa ko ay kulang2 at super liit ng mga text. Yung pc ko ata sa office ang may problema kung bakit maliliit ang text ng dinadownload kong form. Sana hindi yun maging dahilan para magkaron ng problem ang assessment. 🙁

Buti ka pa @Vhoythoy ako naipit sa ielts kaya di makaproceed matagal na sana akong nagapaglodge sa diac nung may pa.hehehe..wala naman kasi akong points makukuha sa work exp kay sa ielts nalang.. hahay..

Ako expected 70 points pag na grant 8 years exp. hopefully sana. Academic pa nga na tAke ko ielts gt lang sana namali ng book sa idp. Cambridge lang nreview k volume 6 & 7.

hello po okay lang ba na yong tatak na notario ay sa likod ng papel? kasi nong taga notario wala daw space mismo don sa documents since empty naman yong likod don na lang nila tinatakan. Okay lang po ba yon? please help plan ko today maglodge. many thanks in advance

221213 External Auditor
221214 Internal Auditor

so meaning they are closely related. Your work experience will be considered for the purpose of claiming EOI points.. this is based on DIAC's guidelines..

Now, hindi ko alam ang difference ng job description nila, im not sure kung paano pag sa skills assessment sa vetassess...

Lahat ba ng work experience mo eh external auditor?, tapos magpapa-assess ka as Internal?

or meron kang mga previous work exp na internal, pero ang current mo lang is external?

Closely related employment For Points Test purposes, VETASSESS applies DIAC's definition of "closely related employment" to the nominated occupation. DIAC defines closely related employment as paid employment of at least 40 hours per fortnight in an occupation in the same Unit Group of ANZSCO (Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations) as the nominated occupation. This implies that the employment should be at the same skill level as the nominated occupation and should draw on a similar skill set and subject matter. Usually closely related employment is in the same industry. The employment must also match the lead statement in ANZSCO for the nominated occupation.

ang intindi ko po closely related yong internal at external auditor kasi nasa same unit group po sila. so pwede din akong magpa assess as internal kahit external ang duties and responsibilities ko. tama po ba ako? please help. many thanks!

eto ang sinasabi ko na for claiming EOI points purpose only..
kaya tinatanong ko kung may internal auditor exp ka, yun ang isusubmit mong main occupation, then secondary occupation lang ang external, para ma-claim din as related occupation..
i think, kailangan meron ka muna nung nominated occupation (internal auditor), before you can claim for the related/relevant occupation (external auditor) in the same unit group (Auditors)...for EOI pts
in your case na wala kang internal auditor experience, sa tingin ko, mukhang hindi pwede.. this is just my opinion.. or maybe im wrong..

salamat sa opinion mo @lock_code2004. siguro kailangan ko munang pag aralang mabuti, ang second option ay magpa assess sa IPA kasi don may external auditor. dapat sure talaga ako kasi ang mahal ang assessment fee, pag mali goodbye assessment fee na rin. kailangan ko lang mag IELTS muna kasi kailangan ng IPA ang IELTS.

Pero mashare ko lang. Yong officemates ko dati, dalawa sila, nasa australia na sila ngayon, 2007 sila nakaalis, nagpa assess sila bilang accountant pero ang work experience nila external auditor. siguro dahil iba ang ruling noon.

It was very relaxed before... I think mga 2008 ata sila naghigpit.

@michel_75 - why do you want to complicate your situation; as you have mentioned that you have pure external auditor experience, bakit ka mag-apply as internal auditor? For me it doesn't make sense eh, lalo na NIL experience ka in IA. It may be closely related but fact remains that wala ka experience in your nominated occupation.

Hi, almost same case tyo. 8 years ako sa external audit and now working as internal audit. Although i'm not pure external auditor (financial audit) as karamihan sa external audit firm experience ko is advisory/consultancy/risk management na closely related sa IA job scope and i have several certifications for IA. The reason why pinili ko din Internal audit route. Why di ka mag external audit route sa ICAA/CPAA? mabilis pa yan at mas mura, =).

IA and EA should be the related, since nag test of controls ka rin nman, walkthrough, issued management letter reports sa external audit, which is main responsibilities of internal auditor. So when creating your job responsibilities focus mo sa assessment of controls and testing. Of course lagay mo din yung usual na job ng EA like subtantive testing, FS auditing/reporting, etc.

Agree din ako sa point nila LockCode na medyo "risky" magpaassess ng purely external audit experience sa Vetassess for Internal Audit skillset. The best is call/email them directly and ask for their advice.

I'm still waiting for my assessment sa Vetassess, lets see.

@TasBurrfoot oo nga tama ka..so siguro unahin ko muna IELTS than assessment. Gusto ko kasi sanang magpa assess na habang nagrereview..nagmamadali kung baga pero salamat sa inyong lahat dahil binigyan nyo ng idea, ginuide nyo ako sa tamang landas. Alam nyo maglolodge na sana ako kanina. Salamat ng marami ha @TasBurrfoot.

Nung april 9 pa mag 14 weeks na nga. May kasama din kasi pta. Ang tagal and cost me 840 aud all in all. Yes go for ielts first. Take ACADEMIC ielts if you opt to external audit route. Goodluck

@vhoythoy nag IELTS ka na? san ka na nagreview? alam mo kaya ayaw ko sanang external auditor kasi iniiwasan ko yong ACAD ielts..yong nag aassess kasi ng EA ay nangngailangan ng 7 ACAD...mahina kasi talaga ako sa english. nag exam na ako last year acad ang nakuha ko reading 5 listening 5.5 writing 6 speaking 6. kaya lang para sa pangarap kailangan magreview ulit at magretake.

@TasBurrfoot sa totoo lang iniiwasan ko yong acad na ielts sana...lahat kasi ng nag aassess ng EA ay nangangailangan ng 7 acad ielts..kaya lang kailangan ko talagang mag ielts ulit..salamat talaga sa inyo..at least dito free of charge ang tanong.
