Madali bang makahanap ng work kahit student visa lang?how much ung needed budget for a week for this kind of scenario?Mas madali bang magapply ng PR coming from student visa?Patulong naman po need talaga ng info.

I would to apply for Subclass visa 176 and my fiancee as my dependent but unfortunately my IELTS exam result was 6.5 only so I didn't make the passing mark score of 65. I try to find another options, with this we consider to apply with student visa. Do you think it is a good idea for us to start with student visa then look for employer that could sponsor me or my fiancee and then apply for PR? We badly need your opinions since we do not have any relatives in OZ.

retake ka na lang ng IELTS.. mas mahirap ang path from student to PR and mas magastos pa

Pag nagstudent visa po kayo sa Australia, hindi kayo papayagang kumuha ng full time job hangga't matapos po ninyo yung course na kinuha niyo...so unless you really want to study, I would suggest applying for a Skilled Visa instead. Check niyo po yung "General Skilled Visa" thread, marami po dung mga nag-apply....For the IELTS, you can get a lot of tips from the "IELTS" thread naman 🙂

Yep 20 hours per week ang limit to work. IF may work permit kayo. During my time na nag-aral ako dun late 90's, automatic na pagpunta ko dun meron na ako work permit (if memory serves me right). But ngayon yata, you have to apply for it when you get there.

kung sa pag-retake mo ng ielts ay sumemplang ka ulet, then student visa talaga is the best option. You can bring your wife and have her work full-time while you're studying. Malay mo makakuha sya ng sponsor eh di ikaw naman ang gawin nyang dependent sa kanyang working visa. Wag mong isipin ang mga possible hurdles, basta laging optimistic.

Maraming route to get there, lakasan lang talaga ng loob at abilidad. Cheers.

sir arris_10, kung in demand naman po ang trabaho niyo, magpasa na lang po kayo ng visa application. Mas mura at mabilis siya (in terms of return on investment)

If you're after getting work immediately and getting your family to Australia, working visa is the way to go....Student visa can let you in Australia easier pero di rin kayo kikita kaagad 🙁

@LokiJr Have a work is really my priority together with my fiancee but we are short of 5 pts in both 176 and 475 visa. We are planning to take student visa but there are lots of limitations for it specially for work.

sir @arris_10 nasubukan nyo na kumuha ng extra points sa Tagalog Language or State Sponsorship? Pag maganda ang IELTS ng fiancee niyo may additional points din maccredit sa inyo 🙂

Mahirap ata un sa NAATI. And mas mahal pa sa IELTS pag kukuha ka. Nabasa ko somewhere na meron nagtake nun, tapos share niya experience nya. Madami daw tagalog words na dun lang niya nakita and hindi pa nya na-encounter sa buong buhay niya. Hahaha. Ganun daw kahirap. Although sabi nga nila, if gusto madami paraan. So no choice kung hindi tiyaga lang.

@LokiJr if I get all 7 in IELTS i can make the pass mark of 65 of both 176 and 475. We still considering to get points in Partner skills but my fiancee need to get all 6 in IELTS and have her skills assess as well. I am just wondering if any member of this forum has been able to credit a points with Credentialled Community Language? If anyone has please inform us.
