Hi All..I'm newbie po dito. Kindly me advise po guys regarding my situation.

nagsubmit po ako ng EOI & WA SS last Feb 17, until now wala pa invitation. Tapos young occupation ko is 233111 Chemical Engineer (EA certified na po), kaso closed na yong availability ng profession ko. Di rin pd sa SA SS kasi naka-reserve ang slot for those nag-aral within Australia.

I need to retake my ielts (sked ko Mar 15,2014) kasi meron ako 6.5 na score sa reading part to qualify sa 189..need ko pa ba magpa- VETASSESS for my other employment records na di related sa Chemical engineering? Meron ako previous teaching experience kasi.

@johans hindi po... di naman sila humahanap ng proof. ang importante lang is pag nagsettle ka na sa Oz, you have the capacity to support yourself in the 1st few months of your stay. Declaration nyo lang yan to inform them na may capacity kayo to survive in Oz while wala pang work.

Hi everyone, new here. We are planning to go for 190 or 489 visa for WA. I've pretty much understood the process but i would like to make sure if it's correct. I'm going for 223111 human resource adviser which is on schedule 2.

At the moment ielts pa lang ang nagawa ko and still waiting for the result. Will start assessment with vetassess as soon as I get the necessary documents. Medyo hirap kasi andito kami saudi Arabia.

I'm a bscs grad from dlsu but the only work i got here is admin assistant & hr representative (limited kasi ang opportunities for women dito). I have almost 6 years of continuous experience in a reputable hospital.

My hubby's sister and her family are in mandurrah, they will be our sponsor if ever. I'm turning 32 this aug.

One of my concerns is im confused about the addtl requirement for sched 2 occupation, which is to have a full time contract. Does this mean I should find an employer before we can be considered?

Pareview naman po ng details namin if we have a chance and if somebody can answer my question re addtl reqts.

first, which 489 do you want to apply.. understand the difference...

a) if 489 regional - your occupation should be in CSOL and WA SOL, if they have additional requirements like employment, then you must satisfy that...

b) 489 relative sponsored - your occupation should be in SOL.. you dont need to be in WA SOL, because your relative will sponsor you... your sponsor should satisfy the requirements for sponsors..

I would want to apply to whichever is applicable for the credentials I've mentioned.I think my occupation is in csol and wa sol, so it seems im leaning towards 489 regional, so it means I may have to look for a job first before I can be considered?

Now im a bit confused...

This is my estimate for the points so far:

Age (31-32) 30 pts

Ielts (hoping for an 8 or 7) 20 or 10 pts

Educ qualifications (bscs -dlsu) 15 pts hopefully

Experience (5 yrs) 10 pts hopefully

190 5 pts

489 10 pts

Can you (or anybody) please advise how can I go on with my application?

@j0wnaGurl - if that is the requirement of WA for 489 regional as of today, then yes, you need to find a job before they can nominate you for a 489 regional visa sponsorship..

their requirement changes, from time to time.. based on priorities, number of applications, occupation limit.. etc.. so i suggest wait for Jul1 (start of new immigration calendar)...

and then re-assess your options..

For sure I will be able to lodge my application way after july 1 considering the assessment results takes almost 4 mos.

Hopefully my nominated skill will still be in the list. I've seen that the most recent update of the list was just last june 3 and it's still available. (Fingers crossed).

Btw, am I eligible for 190? Sorry. I hope you don't mind me asking too much questions. I really really want to do this and learning more gives me strength.

@j0wnaGurl - if you have atleast 60pts including the 190 sponsorship (5pts), then you are qualified for visa 190.. of course provided that your occupation is in CSOL and WA SNOL>.

With my estimate, I have max 80pts & min 65pts w/o the 489 sponsorhip. I will do the assessment asap and hopefully the addtl. Reqt will change, then I will lodge my application. Thanks very much for your time @lock_code2004. Much appreciated.

@j0wnaGurl Hi sis, pag nasa sched 2 ang nominated occupation mo, it is a must for you to have a job offer. else, WA will not approve of your SS application.

Though we have relatives there, maybe we can ask them to help us.

Do you have an idea if the offer has to be a real contract or pwedeng offer lang talaga?

Meron pa bang sched 2 dito?

@j0wnaGurl alam ko po, you need to provide them the employment contract and the contract must be 12mos and up. let's just hope and pray na come july, they'll reset all to sched 1.

@j0wnaGurl wala sis, wala pang visa, nag-aantay din ng july para mag-open ang mga SS 😃, nag-inquire ako dati sa WA tungkol sa sched 2. yun yung sagot nila saken

@j0wnaGurl Yes sis. 2 kami ni hubby nagpa assess. 263111 (ACS) at 313112 (TRA). Depende sa result sa July kung alin ang gawin namin na main applicant. Pero visa 190 path namin kasi di kami abot sa points. Lowly lang kasi school. Hahaha.
