anyone tried airbnb before?

May nakasubok na ba magbook ng room for short term stay sa airbnb? May mga host din kase na Pinoy akong nakita doon. Pls share your experience. Thank you! 🙂

Did it several times in Asia... The experience varies per host which is why it is very important to take note of the reviews given by prior guests.

thank you @TasBurrfoot ! Minsan kase hard to believe yung presyo, but yes reviews are important to take note na din. Medyo kinakabahan pa rin ako i-try.... :-??

ok naman ang airbnb. My friends use it when they travel to Japan. hehehe internationally known naman sya. 🙂 Ung mga aussies din dito ginagamit airbnb. Mura ung price kase they are competing with hotels, nirrent out nila personal properties nila 🙂

Thanks @stolich18 ! Was hoping to get some insights sa mga nagrent sa airbnb in Perth or anywhere in Australia. May nakita kase akong ad doon na pinay with puti na asawa na nagpaparent ng rooms. Mukhang legit kase may mga pics ng guests. Tapos may isa pang ad na different couple pinay and puti din with a few same pics nun nasa ad nung unang couple kaya medyo naguluhan ako. Although un unang couple madaming reviews at yung pangalawa walang reviews. Nagdoubt tuloy ako bigla. :-(

hmmm ok ingat pa rin pala sa mga ganyan.. hehee just to make sure lang. So far kase ung mga kakilala kong gumamit nyan ay sa Japan nagpunta :-)

Yup check the review first c utol ko jan nakakuha sa airbnb pero russian, maganda da2 yung service

I have used airbnb twice na, once in Melbourne and once in Sydney. I can safely say it's better than what I had expected. Yung sakin though, sa Melb ay one house, while sa Sydney is one granny flat. I don't know if it makes much difference, but both times, Aussie ang owners nung place.

What I can suggest, read reviews, tapos communicate with the owners/advertisers so you can gauge if maayos ba sila to deal with, ask about cleaning fees etc., or any other fees, and pay directly to airbnb, not owners. You can even ask more pics if you want or any other details. I think they will accommodate naman.

I managed to communicate with one host, although di nya preferred na may bata sa unit nya, I can say na nakalma ako sa maayos nyang response. At nagbasa ako ng mga reviews. I think reviews talaga matter. Kaya inayos ko na un profile ko dun (with verification pa) for future purposes 🙂
