for visa 189, you dont need to provide "show money" if that is what you mean..
but if you are applying for visa 190, you need to answer several questions on the state sponsorship application, on how do you intend to support yourself in the next 3-6 months while looking for job... some states have a minimum amount required pag single, family+Kids..
most members here said, that it just a questionnaire, but they dont really look for proof, like bank statements..
once you have your SS and Visa, immigration won't ask for any "show money"
