@dhey_almighty are you asking about ss application? Pag approved na ang visa mo, hndi na nila I check ang pera mo pag daan mo sa airport immigration (versus kung anu ang declared mo sa ss application)

Ang check wl be sa state application, although marami magsasabi dito na so far hindi nmn silahiningian ng proof before approval ng SS.

thanks for the reply. and sorry it took me eons to do a follow up. was pretty upto my neck these days. anyhoo, yung more than 3 years if it is abroad correct? pero kung local lang naman like Pinas no need for the additional assessment. tama ba?

"abroad" means outside of australia..

kung magclaim ka ng work experience points, you need to provide all the documents.. whether work exp in australia or abroad (outside australia, which means including philippines)..

Ano balita mga Engineers natin?

I just received my positive skills assessment result yesterday from EA (C/o my agent). Manghihingi lang ng advice. Ok lang ba n mg submit ng EOI kahit na 60 pts lng ako or better n maghintay ng new SMP, w/c I believe sa July pa lalabas?

@tontoronsky - go submit now... if you see yung mga current invitations ngayon.. mga 60pts na ang naiinvite.. so go ahead...

Thanks @lock_code2004 - Just lodged the EOI. Hopefully got an invite before the Telecommunications Engineer reached its ceiling. As of 1 April 2013 kc, 468 out of 480 invitations naibigay na ng DIAC.

thanks @lock_code2004 - Yup bro 12 na lang, and report on 22 April has not been posted yet. My plan is to ask EA if I can also get a positive assessment to a different but similar occupation (Telecommunications Technical Officer or Technologist), w/c is still in high availability.

My question is nagbibigay b ang EA ng positive skills assessment to two similar occupations without undergoing the same 19 weeks process?

Awts! Nareach na ang ceiling for Telecommunication Engineer and I dont wanna wait till July. So I decided to have another assessment (Telecommunications Technical Officer or Technologist) which will take up to 2 weeks. The downside is it will cost $400.. Awts! Do you think its worth it bro @lock_code2004 ?

yes, if Telco Tech Officer is in SOL1, meaning you can apply for via 189,
not quite yes, pag nasa CSOL, kailangan mo pa ng SS visa 190, then you have to check which state can sponsor you.. so it might take some time before Jul 2013
yes, kung di issue ang budget.. at kung sure na 2wks lang ang processing time.

time is very important, we dont know after July 2013 if that same job code will still be in the SOL/CSOL..

@lock_code2004 - thanks for the insights bro. Yes Telco Tech Officer is in SOL1 and buti nalng may budget pa. Isipin ko n lang investment.. hehe.. As per EA, within 2 weeks lang (hopefully). Yun nga e, kaya ngmamadali din.. Thanks again bro
