Help on SOL and Visa type

Guys, graduate po ng BS comp.science section 2 sa list of recognised school sa pinas ng Australia.

I have 4years experience as system administration, then for the past 5yrs my work is not really related to the computer system, since i'm working in the field of Oil & Gas here in Singapore with position instruments and control , I've been in WA 4-times as business lang po.

Tanong ko under parin ba ako ng ACS, because of my course (computer science)?

wala po akong makitang related sa work ko ngaun sa SOL as Instruments & controls.

I've been reading a lot on this forum, can you give a simple step kung ano po ang mga ginawa nyo or preparation.

Do I need to apply for skilled-independent subclass 175?

btw, i'm 33male hindi pa naman cguro hui ang lahat :-)

marhirap mag advise ng visa type for you. you should check the SOL jobs related to what you're JD says. baka sa ibang job title ung nature ng work mo.

not anymore recommended to take 175 as the ruling will change in July 2012. kung tingin mo kaya ma habol lahat then go go go. i advice may try ka mag pa initial assessment -- usually naman libre ung initial assessment sa mga agency dito s SG . malaki matutulong nun

@aolee salamat po, so far nasa 70% na yung docs ko, ielt resuls nlang. try ko parin humabol..

@wesverg,based on my initial assessment, hindi ka qualified for migration. Wala kasi sa SOL ang current job mo. You will not also qualify for ICT job coz u didnt comply to "recent specific work requirement" guideline.

I guess you better ask an assistance from registered migration agent for other route.

@wesverg, Hi Sir...hindi pa po huli ang lahat tamang tama lang po edad niyo para makapasok ng Australia....kung limang taon na kayo nagttrabaho sa Oil Industry, baka mas mainam po na ang i-nominate niyong trabaho ay dun at hindi I.T. kasi mas recent yung isa...

Ang tanong na lang e kung nasa SOL ang occupation niyo ngayon...kung hindi...check niyo po ang mga State Occupation List...baka andun siya...puwede rin kayo mag apply ng visa gamit yun at ang drawback lang ay limitado yung visa niyo sa isang state ng Australia

Newbie here. Data gathering pa lng poako. Tanung ko lng if dpat k p b tuloy ung application ko for 189 or 489 visa. Wla kc sa sol ung wrk ko for 3yrs. Pg wla b s sol, wla n chance or other way to go to au. Bsece ako, workng as production support, nd aq dvloper or tester. Wla n aq mkta n related sa current job k s sol. Pls help
