Hi sir/ma'am, yun experience ko po is sa IT, pero I'm sure hindi kayo mahihirapan as long as you're good sa craft mo. Impress them sa interview. Sa SEEK website po umaga and gabi may bago job posts lagi kahit weekends. I'm sure within weeks makakakuha din po kayo agad ng work.

hi guys.. just sharing... i was looking into several job search engines today and got really frustrated... i saw a lot of openings for my capability... SAP SD... permanent position.. but they all require a working visa and/or already residing in australia... hay... sana mapabilis nman yung processing ko... in God's time and with His help we can all achieve our dreams of becoming successful in australia... i'm really glad i found this forum.. meron na ako karamay... na-encourage pa ako lalo dahil sa mga stories dito...

Hi Guys! Ako 1 month na dito sa WA pero wala pa rin akong mahanap na work in-line sa experience ko. Medyo mahirap kasi ung situation ko kasi i am on a 475 regional sponsored visa kaya medyo restircted ung mga lugar na pwede kong puntahan. Almost all the jobs applicable to me are all on Perth which i am restricted to work for 2 years or up until i would be able to complete the requirements to apply for a PR visa.

Very frustrated at the moment pero iniisip ko na lng na darating ung right time and the right work for me. Siguro this is just trials that every migrant could encounter when they migrate to another country.

Consolation ko na lng ngaun is at least i have a part time work for the moment, para lang me pambayad ng bills for the moment.

@k_mavs - sir, ano po profession nyo? im also a subclass 475 visa holder, i just got my visa last wednesday lng... where ka sa WA sir? i believe the closest na allowed tayo is Mandurah so im planning to reside there or Bunbury. by the way, im a licensed Electronics engineer. mahirap dn kaya maghanap ng work sa field ko? hope to get some input. thanks sir.

@junix Hi Sir. Congrats nga po pala sa visa nyo. Licensed ECE po ako.sa Telecommunications sector. Yung problem kasi ngaun sa telco puro Perth based ung mga jobs nila. Then yung mga employee nila dun nila ipapadala sa regional areas kaya parang Peth based din ang labas which is di pwede sa visa natin.

Saang field po ba kayo? I'm currently here in Mandurah WA.

@k_mavs - thanks... oh well, mahirap hirap dn pla tong sa field natin mghnap ng work jan... im planning to move there this november, Mandurah dn cgro... sa telecoms dn ako eh, i have some experience in fiber optics, licensed splicer ako when i worked in qatar for 3 years, though it was already 2 years ago. more on sa security systems ako or low current systems like cctv, pabx, access control and networking.then im still reviewing now to take my CCNA certification... bka pwde maki join syo sa tinitirahan mo, naghahanap pa dn ako eh... buti nlng nameet kta d2, at least same place and profession tayo...lets keep it touch sir.

@junix Mas in demand dito yang work mo. Sa OSP field marami opening sa Perth. Sa regional kasi hirap makahanap ng telco work dito. More on O&M kasi ako ng telco equipment ang field ko.

No problem sa sir.Sabihan mo lng ako kung kelan ka punta dito para maihanap kita ng room na pwedeng tuluyan. Puno kasi at the moment tong nirerentahan ko na house e. May padating din dito na naka 475 visa na mag asawa next week kaya nakuha na ung isang room. Dami naman available na rooms dito sa ibang mga pinoy.

are you asking po how to start the application? if yes, may several stages po ng application

1) Verify if your skills is in the SOL/CSOL - http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/sol/#b

2) prepare documents (cert of employment, passport etc)

2) English Test (IELTS)

3) Skills assessment - ( so for automotive techinician it would be TRA)

4) Lodge EOI - expression of interest

5) Once selected, you can then apply for an immigrant visa..
