Form 929 - Change in passport/address details

Hi,

Sino dito nakapag-submit ng Form 929 after ma grant yung visa? How long did it take para mag confirm si AU Embassy dito sa Manila of the change/update?

@dapogi i changed passport after my visa grant. I remember receiving my passport 3 weeks before my scheduled flight. Yun din ang time na nagsubmit ako ng form 929. I haven't received confirmation from the embassy na inupdate nila details ko so one week before my flight I think i called the customer service hotline para lang sabihin na nagupdate ako ng details and the representative said na okay na yun so hindi na ako ngwait ng confirmation.

i was able to fly and even came back to manila to visit yun nga lang everytime na magccheck in na ko parang yung andun sa check in counter parang biglang sasabihin na wait lang may ichecheck sila but they never bothered to tell me kung ano yun.

Anyways, kung magsend ka man ng 929 and di ka makareceive ng confirmation sa kanila cguro tawagan mo nalang or try to check kung naupdate yung details mo sa vevo 🙂

thanks @muffles127 . 🙂 sent mine yesterday and end of August pa naman yung flight ko. ill call them na lang mga beginning of August siguro. Concern ko kasi is yung pagbili ng ticket. baka masayang lang kasi kung dahil lang dun sa pag change ng passport details, hindi ako makaalis. 😛 and yes, i'll check VEVO every once in a while. salamat ulit. 🙂

Guys pahelp, yung sa form 929 yung client number ba is the same with transaction reference number? Kasi i checked my visa grant wala namng nakalagay na client number. Thanks po.

hi peeps, ask ko lang po,I want to renew my phil passport,i am already pr here and after filling the form 929 saan ko po ba ipapadala,is it sa team na nagrant ng visa ko or sa email add ng immigration quoting my details..?

@bytes I think your CO wont do the updating for you. Yung sa akin nung nasa Pinas, I sent it to the embassy. If you are here na, I think sa DIBP na ditto. 🙂

Hi guys.. I just recently got an Invitation to lodge visa 189 application.

2 weeks ago I applied for Passport Renewal dito sa Phil Embassy sa Thailand, and around 6-8 weeks processing before ko makuha yung bagong passport.

Tanong ko lang so sa case ko, I will proceed and lodge with my visa application with my current passport details.. then magssubmit na lang ng Form 929 kapag natanggap ko na yung new passport ko?

What if ma-grant yung visa ko before dumating yung new passport.. Sa Australian Embassy na dito sa Bangkok ko bale na issubmit yung Form 929 for processing?

Mabilis lang ba (like within the day) yung process ng pag-uupdate ng passport details sa Embassy?

Sir, one option is antayin mo na lang new passport mo para di complicated and yan din ang advice sa DIAC website. If you choose to apply now, then you have to do the form 929. If sa Pinas ka sir, dito ka mag email immigration.manila@dfat.gov.au. Hindi ko lang po alam sa Thailand. 😛

before ng grant namin nagsubmit n kami ng form929 sa may immi account kasi nagrenew n ng passport partner ko kaso nung nreceive namin yung grant yesterday yung old passport pa rin nakasulat dun s grant notice.. san namin isesend yung form 929 para ipachange na yung passport details nya? anong email add?

Sa mga nagsubmit na ng Form 929, tama ba na puwede via email lang (see a)? Eto kasi yung nakita ko sa website:

My visa is still valid but the passport has expired. I now have a new passport. Do I have to apply for a new visa or can I still use the one on my old passport?

Please ensure you complete and submit Form 929 – “Change of address and/or passport details”. Please either:

a) Scan the biodata page from your old and new passport, together with a scanned image of the visa label, and email scanned copy of Form 929 to immigration.manila@dfat.gov.au

b) Submit your old and new passport with completed Form 929 to our service delivery partner (with ample time before your intended travel) and your new passport will be returned with a new visa label if necessary.

Do I need to submit Form 929 if I am going to change address even after visa grant? Medyo nakakalito lang....sa mismong form kasi may nakalagay na ganito:

"If you intend to change your residential address for

more than 14 days while your application is being

processed, you must tell the Department of Immigration and

Border Protection (the department) your new address prior to

moving, and how long you will be there."

.....so meaning, di na kailangan. Pero dito sa http://www.immi.gov.au/FAQs/Pages/how-can-i-update-my-address-or-passport-details.aspx may nakalagay na ganito:

"You should advise us of a change of address while you hold a visa to assist us to contact you if required."

I'm flying back to Manila kasi and going to stay there for 2 months before I move to Perth and the address I put on the application and in the grant letter is here in Korea....

If you guys can shed some light regarding this matter, that would be great!

@jenipet20 hi po!same case po tayo.waiting pa kami kay CO kaso yung new passport namin na receive na namin last week oct17.paano po kaya yun?makakatulong po kaya kung e upload na din namin lahat pati yung form 929?

Front (the page with pic) and back scanned pages of old and new passport
Visa grant notification
Completed Form 929
