DIAC points on Work Experience (ACS applicants)

Remember that ACS is just an assessing authority. Case officer from this body gives an opinion about SOLID ICT work experience rendered by the applicant from the time of application. But DIAC has the final decision to award points based on applicant's circumstances.

If ACS gave you 5 yrs SOLID ICT experience (as per their opinion) but you have an actual 8 yrs work experience relevant to your nominated occupation FROM THE TIME OF LODGING an application as per COE, then DIAC will count is as 8 yrs.

Example:

Nominated Occupation: Programmer Analyst

Feb 2004 - Feb 2010, Business Analyst XYZ Company (50% - 3 yrs)

Note that ACS gave 3 yrs only but the actual relevant work experience is 6 yrs

Feb 2010 - Feb 2012 Programmer (2 yrs)

So hindi na po kailangan magsubmit pa ng bago na COE? Assumption ba ni DIAC still working ka for the most recent company mo during the time na a CO is allocated to you?

Ang CO kasi ng DIAC ay tumitingin sa COE mo or reference letter, kung ano ang nakalagay dun, yun lang ang counted. So kung gusto mo ma-credit ang recent months experience mo, kumuha ka ng bagong COE.

Sa amin naman 1yr. na ang gap ng reference letter o COE mula nun kumuha para sa assessment ng ACS pero nag request pa rin si hubby ng COE dated mula nun date of regularization nya up to now kung kelan mapirmahan yun naka email na COE from the HR nila kasi ayaw nya humingi sa superior nya.

Ah tama dagdag credit din yun na nagtatrabaho ka pa din upto the present date.

If pareho ICT yun skill, then sa ACS. Depende po sa skill mo and your partner, meron nakalaan na assessing body for each occupation.

@ kikay si wife ko is ICT 4 yrs degree course pero plain house wife lang sya nag aalaga ng 2 kids nmn, makaka dagdag point ba sya? ako kasi ang primary applicant.
