sa mga nakapaglodge na ng application, paano nyo po pinatunayan na may functional English ang spouse nyo?

Nasusulat po kasi sa booklet 6.

Members of your family unit aged 18 years or over included in your application who

have been assessed as not having functional English language skills will be required to

pay a second instalment charge (see form 990i Charges) which entitles them to English

language tuition in Australia to achieve functional English. The full amount of this charge

must be paid before a visa can be granted to you. Members of your family unit who are

able to demonstrate functional English ability (eg. obtain an overall band score of 4.5

on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)) do not have to pay this

charge. Applicants who pay this charge will receive information about the Adult Migrant

English Program and where they can receive their tuition when the visa is granted.</blockquote>

If your family members graduated in a recognized school that uses English as a medium of instruction and you can get a certification proving that, I recall you can use that instead of spending for IELTS 🙂

Ganun ginawa namin ng wife ko. She just requested for a Certificate of English as Medium of Instruction. (for a fee). Galing nga eh, included siya document request form, meron talaga option for requesting it. 🙂 Although mababa lang naman requirement sa IELTS, 4.5, mas okay pa din if dun tayo sa makakatipid. 🙂

Try ko din kumuha nyan para hindi na gumastos ng fee sa IELTS, ang gagawin ko magdadala me ng letter(draft) sa school ko para i-transfer na lang sa letter head nila. Baka pwede rin antayin na lang kung present si signatory at hindi maraming kumukuha ng request.

Yup okay po kung ganun na lang gawin. Yun sa amin po, hindi na nagdala ng draft. Kasi normal na sa kanila nanghihingi ng ganun kaya meron na sila template. Hehe. Try mo din po baka meron sila. Anyway madali lang naman nakasulat lang dun is natapos yun course na ang ginamit na medium ng teaching is English.

Ay ako po, hindi ako humingi nun since main applicant ako. So nag-IELTS po ako syempre, pero kumuha pa din ako ng Certificate of English as Medium of Instruction. Pandagdag lang. Haha. AMA ako. Sa ACS kasi yun most recent study ata ang credited so parang bale-wala yun Australian study ko. Good thing meron +5 points sa DIAC yun, kasi 10 points lang makukuha ko sa education sa DIAC kasi section 3 at AQF diploma lang. Yun secondary applicant ko, from PUP. 🙂

hala... talaga?!!! coincidence...

taga AMA rin ako at wife ko sa PUP... nde kaya ka-parallel universe kita hahahhaa joke lang...

so meron na pala PUP na format ng medium of instruction... ok para madali makakuha misis ko...

isa pang coincidence, kumuha rin ako ng medium of instruction sa AMA, baka kasoulmate kita pre hahahaha 😃

Tama yun makakatipid na sinasabi mo @Bryann kasi pagdating dun magsisimula na naman ng panibagong buhay alam mo yung konti lang ang dala mo hindi mo kasi madadala doon ang lahat na meron ka dito pero meron naman dun nauupahan o narerentahan na fully furnished house o apartment. Wala lang me idea kung gaano ka kumpleto yun.

Haha! Baka nga ka-parallel universe kita. LOL. Yup meron na sila format sa PUP, hehe. Pero mga 2 weeks ata processing, babalikan mo pa. If meron kayo mauutusan para kumuha pagkagawa nun letter, pagawa ka lang Special Power of Attorney. Kasi hindi nila tatanggapin kung simpleng authorization letter lang. 🙂

Hinanapan ng CO yung spouse ko ng proof of functional English pinadala ko lang yung certification from their school that English is the Medium of Instruction (printed on their letter head with school seal), TOR, and Diploma tapos the next day visa grant na Agad...

@bachuchay - pwede kahit hindi graduate ng college, basta atleast 2 years study..

a) your IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least four and a half (4.5) based on all four components. Important: If you are using an IELTS test to show functional English, it must be from a test sat no more than 12 months before making your application.

b) evidence that you have a degree, diploma or trade qualification requiring at least two years of full time study or training with all instruction conducted in English

c) evidence that you have completed at least one year of full time study in Australia towards a degree or diploma qualification with all instruction conducted in English

d) evidence that you have completed one of the following at an educational institution where all instruction was conducted in English:your primary education and at least three years of secondary education, or at least five years of secondary education.

Hindi na po kailangan ng format, yun school/college meron na sila template dapat nun. Nakasulat lang naman dun is name mo, ano course natapos mo, and nakasulat na ang medium of instruction for the course is english.
