hi all. question lng po. If your nominated occupation is in the shed 2 of CSOL kailangan pa rin po bang mag SS? eh yong total points naman po let's say is 70. thanks.

Eto po ang sabi ng DIAC:

If you apply for a General Skilled Migration visa on or after 1 July 2012 and you are not
nominated by a state or territory government, you must nominate an occupation from Schedule1 of the SOL.
If you apply for a General Skilled Migration visa on or after 1 July 2012 and you are nominated
by a State or Territory Government, a direct entry stream Employer Nomination Scheme visa, a
Subclass 457 (Business (Long Stay)) visa or a Subclass 442 (Occupational Trainee) visa you
must nominate an occupation from either Schedule 1- Skilled Occupation List or Schedule 2 -
Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List.

so to answer your question, kung sched 2 po yung nominated occupation, you would need a State Sponsorship.

Same case kame ni sticky_note. Yun nominated occupation ko rin nasa CSOL sched 2.
Papano po ba yun, magaaply ba muna ng SS or lodge EOI sa Skillselect under visa 190 after Skill Assessment and IELTS..which come first application for SS or EOI? Pasensya na sa tanong.
