How does Skill Select Works?

kaso lang po may training certificate ako pero written in japanese .salamat po

i think your certification will fall under trade qualification and that is 10 pts
kailangan po ipa-translate nyo yan in English sa certified translator..

Hi. May pharmacist ba dito? I just received SkillSelect invitation to apply for 189 visa at medyo natatakot ako magapply kasi wala ako kasama para i-compare ang mga requirements ko. I already finished IELTS, assessed by Autralian Pharmacy Council. Puro kasi accountant ang mga nababasa though I think same process lang naman.

as long as nasatisfy nyo naman ang requirements ng DIAC and you have the documents to prove and submit it to them...you should be fine. 🙂

nasan po ba kayo ngayon? so far sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum...minsan may tumatawag daw sa employer to verify na nagwowork ka talaga dun. so far, yun pa lang mga nabasa ko dito. 🙂

magandang araw po sa lahat...i've been reading this thread and other thread on this website for few days now and malaking tulong talaga siya...katulad ng marami gusto rin namin ni misis i-try ung chance namin...so i created an account para po makapag-tanong narin at makahingi ng personal opinion niyo....

both of our jobs are included sa CSOL;

<b>misis</b> - architectural drafter (almost 5yrs; electrical, struct & architectural); BS Archi grad; 30yrsold, got a lot of certs

<b>kamote1013</b> - ICT Support Technician (almost 5yrs); diploma holder; got some IT certs

on your opinion sino samin ang dapat mag-apply ng visa? and what type of visa we can apply?
for IELTS requirements, GT or AC po ba ang dapat i-take ni misis? alm ko po kasi IELTS GT ang para sa mga ICT.
tama po ba na hindi kailangan ng IELTS results pag nagpa-assess sa VETASSESS?
paki-check naman kung tama yung process na gagawin namin

pag positive lahat gagawa na kami ng account sa SKILLSELECT for EOI? or pwedeng gumawa ng account sa SKILLSELECT kahit hndi pa kami tapos sa first two steps?

@kam0te1013 -welcome to the forum.. you've made the first step towards your Australian dream... (parang receptionist lang ako dito... haha)

eto po ang opinion ko:

mas mataas ang education qualification points ni misis.. Degree (15pts) vs Diploma (10pts) , pero sa total points depende pa rin sa other factors like age, and IELTS
if you have the means, pwede nmn po kayo both magpa-assess, so you can claim extra 5pts for Partner skills
ielts po is general training, and yes its not required for VETASSES and ACS
tama po ang process for you; Skills assessment > IELTS > EOI
if your skills are in CSOL sched 2 you need to apply for State Sponsorship, isusubmit nyo lang po ang skills assessment result and ielts sa specific state and your EOI reference number. You need to select kung saang state in-demand ang skills nyo (each state has its own list, please check their website).. SS also has additional 5 points..

EOI requires atleast 60pts in total.. I suggest you simulate different scenarios sa inyong dalawa..

prior to July 2012, 65 points po ang requirement. kung 60 points ka lang...pwede kunin extra 5 points sa SS. 🙂

Hi guys! I wish I came across this site much much earlier. I will be lodging my PR 189 visa online by Tuesday, my invitation expires on the 30th. Has anyone here applied for this visa with a de facto partner? I have completed the requirements for the points system, it's the requirements for the de facto relationship that are making me a little nervous. Can anyone please share their experience/s on this? Also, are there some issues that I should look out for in lodging the online application? I believe only credit card payments are accepted. Do they accept it if the credit card we will be using is not under mine or my partner's name? Napapraning at stress out nako and I really just want to get this over and done with. Hope some of you can help. Thank you so much! And God bless sa ating lahat!

I believe pwede naman po ang debit card, or credit card under different name..

Please check thread about 'EOI" for your other questions..
