railway engineering - perfect field for Oz! parang walang kahiraphirap itong maghanap ng trabahao kahit saan man sa Oz. Kung makakapili, palagay ko MEL pinakamaganda.. fix na kayo for MEL para start nyo ng mapagaralan ang lugar.. kung gusto nyo naman samahan kami ni @islaman, ADL na! MEL at ADL palagay ko pinaka panalong lugar. SYD lang dahil andun yung maraming trabaho pero palagay ko di nyo naman concern yun.

@rukiasan congrats. nakakatuwa nung nakita kong green na tayong lahat. its definitely a good year for all of us and i'm hoping na it will all be good again for our big move this coming year.

nakapag PDOS na pala ako and maraming salamat sa pag share ni @mistakenidentity, really helpful yung shinare mo from timeline pati pagdala ng jacket. malamig nga, yun nga lang si wife lang ang nakapagdala ng jacket yung akin nakalimutan ko. haha.

share ko lang pala yung nangyari sa akin nitong huling uwi ko. kumuha kasi ako ng multiple OEC dati and naiwan ko sa malaysia yung last - ulyanin na hehe. di pala magiissue ulit yung POEA ng OEC kaya gumawa pa ako ng letter sa atty para mabigyan ako ng exit clearance. Nung nasa immigration na ako, nakita ng immigration officer na meron na ako CFO sticker, tapos tinanong subclass ko tapos sabi sa akin di ko na daw kailangan ng OEC kasi immigrant na ako kasi sure naman daw babalik ako sa pinas, pero papunta ako malaysia nito. di ko nagets ibig sabihin niya, di ko na inusisa basta pinalampas niya ako ok na. hehe.

Hi guys.. Update about our big move.. March 5 po ang alis namin march 6 po dting nmn ng melbourne via PAL 827$ po with 30kg baggage. Gusto po nmn mkamura kaso nkkaka alarm lng po ung sa air asia kya we opted to go thru pal nlng. My prospect nrn po kmi matitirahan.. Room lng po muna with a pinoy family.. Dito lng dn po nmn nkita sa forum, 150 a wk per couple na po with utilities located in truganina..

So far nbsa ko po about sa wire transfer.. My anz account po ako which i opened nung ng bridging course po ako sa melbourne nung 2013. Ask k lng if anyone knows kung pde kya ako mg deposit dun by going to anz branch dito sa makati..

Nxt ung pdos, haha kala po nmn di xa reqts.. Kya di nmn naiintindi buti nlng bumalik ako dito, ask ko lng po pinapa schedule ba un or pde mg walk in with all the docu on hand? Thanks po pla for posting about sa pdos

Last, my nurses po ba dito na melbourne bound? Im really stressed right now, bka kc mhirapan prin mkhanap ng work khit PR na..

@orangesoda hi po, wala na po syang appointment.. just go straight to the CFO office and be there an hour earlier para may ample time ka makapag register. Back read mo lng dito ang post tungkol sa CFO visit ko to give you a heads up!

Dont be stressed out on finding a nursing job.. parang teachers lng din ang demand nyan.. meron ako kakilala na teacher and it only took her 3 days to get a teaching job upon arrival in MEL!

share ko lng experience ko sa CFO yesterday:

arrived there at around 12:30pm
sa information counter hiningan kami ng grant letter at yung passports namen.
chineck ni officer at nagpaiwan ng valid ID (SSS ID ni misis ang binigay namen)
binigyan kami ng grey colored ID na may malaking letter 'A' na nakaprint
binigyan kami ng queue number
nagfill up kami nung information sheet ng CFO (advisable if you download and complete this before going to CFO to save time) while waiting for our number to be flashed on the lcd screen in front of the counters
15-20mins later, our number was called and proceeded to window2 to have our docs checked (completed CFO info sheet, passport size photo, passport, photocopy of passport and grant letter.. if you have kids included in the application also provide an extra passport photocopy of either mom or dad to each kid's docs as a requirement)
after checking all required docs we proceeded to the cashier for payment (P400 per emigrant -bata man o matanda, may ngipin o wala)

note: your passports will not be returned to you at this point. it will only be returned right after the seminar.

we proceeded to the 2nd floor - Canada room after hearing the announcement that this will be the room where all AU and NZ emigrants will have their PDOS.
the seminar was from 2-4pm and consisted of videos and oral discussion from a very competent lecturer
at exactly 4pm, the seminar ended and our passports already stamped with the golden cfo sticker were distributed

note: double check the spelling of your names and make sure the cfo sticker with the emigrant's name corresponds to the passport holder

proceeded to robinsons malate and ate like a viking hahaha
