@dat meaning on priority are those with 70 points above. unless and until maubos na sila 70 pointers that's the time si lower pointers like 60 maiinvite. so to increase your chance to get an invite you have to have your points increased to 70. how? PTE if di mo pa na maximizes score you can get in English.

@batman thanks 🙂 we will never know kailan maubos ang 70. nakaka stress naman... already lodged an EOI so di na pwede bagohin. also, to spend another exam 🙁 need a serious thought on that.

@dat okay lang yun at least naka pila na ang EOI mo. tiwala lang ma invite ka din. mag apply ka din ng state sponsorship + 5 points din yun.

Hi po. May tanong po ako regarding sa assessment process ng VETASSESS. Based po s Information Sheet nila for IA...Applicants must also have at least one year of highly relevant, post-qualification employment, at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years... Ibig sabihin po ba automatic na negative na ang assessment result kapag less than 1 yr in the last 5 years ang IA work experience? Salamat po.

VETASSESS Skills Assessment applications require an assessment of both qualifications and employment against the criteria for your nominated occupation - work experience is an essential component of the skills assessment application.

@batman hi po. I had a 5 yr IA experience but my current job is accountant for more than 4 yrs na. In the last 5 years, less than 1 yr. n lng ung IA exp. q. In that case po ba, negative na agad result ng assessment? Tnx po.

@joannecuenca I thought you don't have previous work experience. Your case is new, wala pa ako na encounter with the same dilemma as yours. Wait natin ibang internal auditors view.

Hi internal auditors! Newbie here. Also just decided to pursue my oz dream.

Question lang po regarding sa latest na round. Nabasa ko sa past discussions here na yung 70 points ay parang preference lamang? Uunahin lang sila? If then, if meron may alam, based on past experiences may chance pa din ba ang 60/65?

Also based on the 1 Sep round, 65 points na ba ang minimum?

Based on initial self assessment kasi may 60 medyo sure points na ako. Di pa ako nagpapa-assess, pero 65 kapag ma-credit yung external audit exp ko (but doing advisory work). I still have a shot if I get superior on my PTE, which would make my points 75, God willing. Doable, pero parang mahirap. 🙁

Medyo nalungkot/kinabahan lang ako kasi biglang taas yung point requirement. Hayyy.. July 2017 pa naman target date ko ng pag-pass ng EOI if ever, kaso baka by then 80 na ang minimum. Haha.

@dyanisabelle minimum points still 60 points. only happen that lot of applicants has 70 points score so the cut off in terms of points ay 70. may chances pa din anmn ang 60 points pag naubos na ang 70 points. slim chance nga lang kasi limited lang din slot ng visa for auditors.

@batman thanks for the response po. So kung 1413 ang ceiling ng auditors for this fiscal year, does this mean naka hati hati na po yan sa buong fiscal year (example lang, 117 per month kung monthly ang round [pero hindi naman po ata monthly hehe example lang]). So kung 117/month lang, uunahin muna ang 70 pointers, tas say 100 lnaka 70pts, 17 lang kkunin na 65 below? Ganun po ba yun? Sorry po, super newbie ako hehe.

@dyanisabelle yes naka prorate sya for the entire fiscal year. per your example kong kunti lang ang 70 points at di aabot sa minimum invitee ibaba nila ang ceiling into 65 so kong may 100 na na 70, 17 na lang ang kukunin sa 65 based on earliest effective date ng eoi. this is not official. just my analysis.

hi! question po.. Im new to this.. Im still completing my requirements.. il try to apply and nominate ko sna ung experience q as an internal auditor since about 4 yrs aq nag-work s internal audit. However nalipat aq and working currently in accounting department.. balak q magpassess thru VETASSESS.. i asked for a COE sa company nmin but basic COE lng ang provided, no history of positions indicated and stated nga n currently working aq sa accounting department.. pde n po b un? and attach n lng aq ng mga Memo q nung na-designate aq as internal auditor? then job description as internal auditor... thank you po..

@momeesean28 you need stat declaration for JD if the employer will not provide it. also double check with your assessing body if required na currently employed ka ba dapat sa nominated occupation mo.

Hi guys, i'm planning to apply for an assessment with VETASSESS. I have 2 years of experience in external audit, then 2+ years in internal audit. Currently, i'm working as an internal audit officer.

Ano ba yung chance na magnegative yung assessment sakin? Or tingin nyo mas okay na antayin ko na lang na matapos ko yung CIA ko by December 2016? Natatagalan kasi ako sa 3-4 months na waiting period ng assessment e plano ko makapaglodge na ng eoi by January or February next year. TIA!
