Yup dapat naka 4 yrs to be citizen, 5 yrs ang PR validity..

Pero pwde naman na magsettle kyo dito bago matpos ang 5yr expiry date.. You can stay indefinitely sa AU even after the 5 yr visa .. Mahabang explanation pero pwede un..

And nakadecide na ng mabuti kung gusto nyo pa ituloy ang PR at citizenship AU..

Yup primarily because of proximity with US, south american countries, UK, etc., plus mababait daw talaga mga Canadians in general. Muntik na din talaga ako dun mapadpad, pero mukhang nakatadhana muna talaga ako mag Oz haha

I'll give it a try kung aabot pa sa cap if not ill check yung Express Entry kung swak sa requirements. kelangan ko parin kasi magwork ulit dito sa pinas para makaipon ng budget in case na mangyayari yung pagmigrate. So far ayun marami nako kilala sa Canada ngayon pero nung first time ko dun wala talaga and solo din.

recent ko lang nakita yung sa Australia kasi. mas mabilis yung Australia although mas mahal compared sa Canada. Nagkainterest din ako itry pero ayun nga wala pa ko idea kung anu meron sa Australia kasi di pa nakakapunta. One consideration din pala, I want to give way din kasi na magkaron opportunity siblings ko na makapagwork abroad. parang mas mabilis ko matatry yun dito sa Australia dahil sa requirements mas straightforward at may chance na madali maattain nila. sa Canada kasi kahit ako may takot pa sa points hehe. downside lang mukang mas mahirap parents sa Oz,

San ka sa Canada? Nagwork ka na pla dati dun. Express daw processing nila ngaun pero mabagal pa din. Roommate ko nagpasa second week ng MAy wala pa yata ung AOR na tinatawag. Mas mabilis nga sa Australia

Dami na rin for medical ata na pinoy for FSW 2014. Pero after nun di alam gano katagal bago magrequest ng passport for visa.

sir sa timeline nyo yung IED, so nakapagland na kayo? gano kayo katagal dun?

yes.. they have to enter together (before the initial entry deadline, normally 1 year after the visa grant date)..

and of course comeback before the PR expiration date..

remember as PR visa holder, you can stay indefinitely in AU (even after 5 yr visa expiration date)...

@acrossborder, sir nabasa ko sa canada immi site regarding eligibility for FSW, need job offer from employer. Tama po ba pagkakaintindi ko sa immi site nila? If walang job offer, you are not eligible.

@TheDreamer not really sir. as long as you have skilled experience sa eligible occupations. you just need to provide reference letters (parang sa ACS) including your employment details and job duties and responsibilities. ang pinagkaiba sa Australia wala pa sila assessment sa work experience so what you get from your employer na reference letters yun na yung gagamitin nila for assessment.

if you go out of AU (after expiration of PR visa) and hindi ka pa citizen, you will need to apply for RRV- return resident visa... simple application na lang ito.. i think approx $500 and valid for up to 5 years..
